iv been throwing money at the z recently with services, timing & aux belts new sensors here and there new exuasts and devorsed cats and i think im nearly there, just needs a had of god approach to iron out the creases its still not running 100% and hesitates when you set of at lights occasionally so.....wheres that place an the midlands that does a good Z tune up need it plugging into that conzult or somthing need there address and number and an idea of what to expect if im going to be driving that far cheers - Alex

where is the ecu?

think i need to have a chat to this andy guy i need to know what iv got first how do i find out, you see there is a rocker switch under the dash (not fog light one) lol! and a turny switch under bumper and a push switch under sill (i got no paperwork with my car shoudda asked a few more questions really!!)

hmm, ok so why does it go to 7200rpm? and do the two chips on yours fit in different places? is it a noticeable difference, iv got the decat strait thru zost on now too

mine was in japan till 2006

its got 'kph' written on it but it reads in mph

mines de- limeted and revs to 7200..... does that mean its chipped

because i ruind my z with a drunken nostalgic trip down memory lane, i think the problem was i passed my test in 2002 when the world was full of 'fast and the furious n all that crap, motorworld and halfrauds re branded with 'kroozing' and 'ripspeed' and to 17 yearold kids its the best thing since slice bread, also cars have become more and more reliable so theres less money being spent on repairs and more on pointless plastic crap stapled to bumpers

hmm well in wich case the height one is fooked its just the tilt one iv discoverd so far - and i already knew about the intermittent wiper thingy so nerrr!

ok so most people remember there first car and all the stupid things you did to it - along the lines of 'neons', 'spinner binlids', 'light lids' massive jap spoliers on fiestas and the good old 'tights on the lights' :xxx: - so me and a fellow JDM'r were slightly pissed at a badly timed BBQ and a bit bored n having a good old reminis about all the stupid embarrasing things that we did bak in th'day....when i had the amaizing idea to 'tight my lights'!! he then joind me and began removing his own lights on his supra......so 1 drunken hour later iv snapped off the strip that goes accross top of my lights gotten bored and given up - my mates supra has no lights atal.... needless to say its all gone a little wrong, im slightly sober'er now and iv bin outside to have a look and its a f**king mess.... long and short i need a new strip for the boot and my mate needs an auto electrician...:rofl: it sounded like a good idea at the time...:mac1:

iv got the decat pipes now was wondering what your supposed to do with the pipes that go into it, there arent any holes for em in the new decat downpipes look like they put cold air into thesystem or summit (cheers dave all painted now)

omg its like having trainers that were always to small and now suddenly fit (still cant see my dials properly tho!) altho its a hell of alot better, what does the other switch do? it feels like its trying to do something i (now) have 3 way adjustment, should it be 4?
