thanks, any idea where i can get some pics and simple instructions, ive never tackled an engine out before so my knowledge is limited and im teaching myself as i go

Hi guys, im in the process of taking my engine out to do piston rings and bearings etc, while its out im going to remove the air con while im at it as i never use it and it needs re-gassing anyway, just wondered what else i can do while its out, i might be wrong but a guy i spoke to said about egr removal? is he right? if so any advice or links to pages with step by step instructions on how to do it and what it actually does anyway would be appreciated, thanks
