ive been looking through some of the pics in members rides and noticed some of you have vented nose pannels, i like the look of them but was wondering if it causes any problems when it rains and the maf or filters get wet?

are the plenum bolts man enough? i thought about that but wasnt sure as the plenum bolts dont seem man enough to me,

i did drop the box and remove the prop because im looking for a new re-con box (mannual) and lightend prop, im in no rush to get it back on the road so thought i would do the works, when it comes to lifting the enigine wheres best to lift it by and is it best to use chains or big rope?

the engine is ready to come out, all un bolted and unplugged i just need to pick up the engine hoist tomorrow and out it comes, does anybody know how much i should be looking to pay for a set of piston rings?
