What would you do ! driving along 40mph in a 40mph raod , and a toyota celica 1.8 is a whisper from my rear bumper with two hoodeis in it , i igorned them ,they overtook, on a 40mph road , and then the waQQQ sign to me , and i never returned any thing,very unusal for me to stay calm , how would you have responeded ?

Going to have a new clutch fitted with a light weight flywheel , need a new prop bearing £125 , so rather than spending on a prop bearing was thinking of putting it towards a prop , a lightwaight prop [ ally ] , any one had any negatives on these , ie the fit extra ?

Good read , the V12 jag engine had the same problem with the back two cylinders over heating , and was corrected by cleaning the residue metal in the ports,.

Stu knows the rd, its got a slight downward part and even in a robin reliant you can push it , they worked my speed out by there speedo , so to be fair its only what they recond, as i never saw the speedo

I think it helped that i was very honest, and that they were only normal cops and they coulnt prove it not being in a traffic car, with recording gear , they said that i over took them when they where doing 90, so may be they were breaking the speed limit too, lol but on a seriose note yes im not doing that again lesson learnt, at last for a 50yr old lol

Been out for a drink with the brother inlaw , 1 pint bitter shandy and a orang juice, droped him off , hit the round about and next to me a souped up x19 , lights change floor it and bingo blue lights , they said did i know the speed i got up to, yes officer 75mph no sir 127mph , breatherlised read 0 , got given a section 59 and told that if it had been a traffic car with men wearing white hats ,it would have been my lot , they where good and polite, and then had a chat and said our farwells . so one thing ive to remamber is to wear my glasses it would have save me a section 59 LOL:mad2:at myself
