  12. ive been checking my car out and the egr is on until it gets to 1688 rpm 15 mph 19 degrees timing temp 54 degrees its off up the range until it switches back on at 3188 rpm 27.5 mph 32 degrees timing temp 56 degrees it seems to switch ono and off in relation to the timing so at 15degrees its ON when it switched to 19 degrees its OFF up till 32 degrees. does this sound right if not what would be the symptoms of this switching on and off respectively.

  14. fantastic . really changes the back end of the z and all by getting rid of a bit of orange. good job A*
  15. think it will just show you the lifter is ok. i am really suspecting oil pump bud. or it could be that v6 engines really need regular oil changes as they have narrow oilways, you could have a blocked oil feed to the top of the engine.
  16. yep really easy. make sure you undo all the bolts and gently heat with a hairdryer whilst applying gentle pressure. move around the light applying the pressure. and then push out from inside the boot..
  17. nothing like having a personal taste eigh!
  18. you said there doesnt seem like there is oil at the top of the engine.have you tried running the engine and pooring some in to it an try and see if the noise decreases or stops. this will help to rule out the lifter prob. imo waiting for a slating.
  19. you have a series 1 ptu mate.

  23. to be honest that z looks like it has gone underneth somthing like a lorry. to creathe that much damage.if it was rolled i would have expected the roof to be much more damaged than that. nasty should just be crushed imo
