    welcome to the club mate. make sure you really can afford to maintain and run the 300zx.they are a 3 litre money eater. a lot of people buy them expect to be able to mistreat them and still want htem to be as reliable as there old diesel. have money put by for the probability of turbo failure ect because it is an engine out job. im not trying to put you off just give you the facts. i have seen too many z's being broken just because the owner cannot afford to fix. these cars should be driven and not broken into pieces imo of course. good luck in what you decide.
  2. dodgy syncro on 4th a very common problem as 4th is a weak point of the z's manual box. change the oil to mt 90 and try that for a while . if it doesnt work im afraid its a refurb job.

  5. um in all the times ive had cars the bottom pipe should always be cooler than the top.that means the rad is doing its job
  6. thats what i thought :headvswal :headvswal ooops! i do need more 4mm. the only place i could see of using the 6mm is the overflow on the rad thats it! thanks mate
  7. i purchased the set of vaccum hoses off of smithy ages back and have only just come to fit them today. the problem is i can only seem to find a use for the 4 mm vaccum hose. as mines a NON turbo do i need the 6mm and 8mm is please tell me where im supposed to put the bloody stuff :confused: :confused: . don't want to just start ripping off pipe only to find there fuel/ water ect. thanks in advance :bow: gaz

  12. hellllp! all of the passes are gone for the club stand. karl is back from iraq and really wants his car on the stand. has anybody changed there mind or got more then they need (slim chance i know) this is a big please to anybody wo can help out a fellow z enthusiast cheers :bow: gaz

    mine does this and i notice it wirring about 5 minute after i have stopped the car. it runs for about 2 mins then stops then a couple of minutes later starts up again. all i can put it down to is its releasing the pressure in the tank or drawing fuel back through the return pipe.

  22. if so click on advanced . scroll down to manage atachments ,choose a file on your comp, making sure its not to big then upload it. simple once you know how lol
