i honestly dont find it funny. my mother has to rely on one of those to get around . without it her personal independance would be non exsistant. they cost a fortune to buy and replace parts for. so sorry if i dont join you in the "joke" :rolleyes:

i did jury service and you can be there for up to 2 weeks. i didnt get paid from my job but i got a really shitty case and it lasted for just over a week. never want to do it again i lost out on about £130

my girlfriend used to be a bar manageress before we moved to bournemouth nearly 5 years ago.dont know if i could put up with all the hastle she used to get from her old boss. she used to bring home more on the fruit machines than what she did working in the pub. maybe thats just an isolated example thoi i will keep it in mind cheers. im a lathe turner/manual and cnc miller. we specialise in the food industry making tooling and maintance of the machines. also odd jobs plastic engineering inc chain guides, one off prototyping etc. its varied but like i said ive got nowhere else to go. i nearly lumped one of the guys at work on friday after the way he spoke to me. i walked out to stop me from doing so . my temper management there is running very thin.

that guy has a sense of humor. much better than the standard feedback that some of us receive lol.

have been in engineering since leaving college after studying engineering for 3 years in 2000. I'm good at my job but am bored and fedup with all the bullshit involved. i have been with 3 engineering based companies since and have been at my current one for nearly 4 years. the thing is its a small company and there are no promotion opportunities as the next job is owner of the company and i don't think my boss will like that lol. tbh the pay isn't that great and without a future I'm at a loss as to what to do. really considering a change of career which is both varied , with the opportunity for promotion and pays well. anybody have some serious ideas please. what is a rewarding and interesting career for me to look into anything considered BTW I'm 24 now so going back to uni etc isn't really an option due to the financial commitments involved which i just cannot support. thanks gaz

its not that. the z has crap headlights at the best of times. i go to work in the dark and come home in the dark at the moment. i keep it below 3k rpm till she is warm. even then i dont floor it everywhere. (too many points to do that now :wack: ) its noticable say when you pull out of a junction you know the power is down! perhaps it could be a faulty ac pump i will get it checked out in the spring. no chance of finding the money for that now!

its more the power drain i worry about the car is noticably slower when its on.

hummm thats interesting mine will not go into eco mode once the demist button is pressed have i got a faulty pod then?? every thing else works fine.

humm damn. its annoying as i have to cycle between the heater and demister. having the demister on all the time is chewing fuel due the the aircon pump being on lol. oh well worth a shot :cry:

come on when you turn the screen demister on . its bloody annoying as it reduces power. when you switch it back onto normal heater the screen starts to mist up again.!!! is there a way of stopping the demister from using the aircon pump (eg by pressing a curtain sequence of buttons ect on the pod) i know you can diagnose it from there i was wondering if you can alter settings too. anybody else find this annoying and how did you solve it removing the aircon is NOT an option i will consider. thanks :)
