is this a halfords job greg. my hesitation has come back when cold. could it be related to my fuel pump being audiable when engine stopped. are the two linked as in dodgy fuel pump not giveing me sufficient fuel delivery when cold or pump ecu faulty?? im soo confused with this prob now. one minute the car flys the next it lags. pissing me off now

you can buy the kits from halfords. a ready cut kit is best to work with but like everybody has said get it done by a professional. it will look kak if you have bubbles etc in it mate!

if they were fine before storage just take it for a good run. the oil has been sitting at the bottom of the engine for a few months and needs to lubricate around the hydraulic tappets . afetr a good run they should quiet down. recommend changing the oil too.
