as my main oil?. i currently use magnetec 10w 40

thanks greg how "safe" is it to add atf to the oil? would it be better to do a flush with a cheap oil. if so how long to run it for before dropping it and filling with good oil? this is a little above me to be honest i'm generally quite good but this is pissing me right off cos im fearing ££££ :eek:
