  6. they are joined together by a metal strip its more of a bracket then studs. they are two different sizes for top and bottom
  7. the studs will become loose in the engine bay after you loosen them. the drivers side can be a pita tho as there is stuff in the way.

  14. im a lathe turner/miller/maintance engineer. earn shite money but have an NA its my only car (for now) so is my daily drive. cost a bit to run but i cannot get a mortgage so a nice sports car was the next best option. plus the z stole my heart. love it to bits but can be a bitch at times when something goes wrong and you can't find the problem.

  16. seriously tho where the spring sits on the front suspension i think the spring is rubbing on the top mount point. the squeek is coming from the top inside the wing so thatsa the closes thing to it iirc.
  17. :slap:
  18. it certainly is :( . it does it nearly all the time except in heavy rain so somthing is dry. i suspect its the spring on the upper seat thats squeeking. thats my first point of call.
  19. mine next then ;) . i have had a squeek on mine for the entire 2 years of ownership . i've dopne the upper link arms and the tension rods so have eliminated them both. so going to try the wd40 trick also. humm just got to remember to avoid the discs.
