  1. could be the z31 which was a single turbo or na. the z32 is either a tt or na be sure you say to the insurance 300zx for uk or fairlady for import.
  2. not me i work my ass off. rent a flat and decided that mortgage prices were waay beyond my price range so decided to get myself a sports car while i could still enjoy it in my youth. sometimes its a struggle but i don't winge about it cos i expected it. all these people who by a big performance car and then say" i didn't think it would be this bad on fuel" or breaking my z because i can't afford to fix the ....... should have really looked into it before buying one! :rolleyes: my five opinions ..... study,buy, enjoy, dont winge and maintain.

  4. well i did a few miles over the bank holiday and used the time to calculate some motorway fuel consumption. please correct me if i have messed this up but here goes right i did 315 miles total inc work travelling £50 of fuel @ 96p per litre so i get that as 27.54 mpg on average. the fuel lasted all weekend and took me to and from work for the rest of the week 6 mile each way. :dance: :duffer: not bad for an old 3.0LITRE fuel eater is it lol.

  8. take it out and use a soldering iron to heat up the joints on the circuit board. add solder if required. i did this to mine and has worked since. hth
  9. its the black box in the drivers door it is common for the joints to become dry and unattach themselves i wrote about this exact problem a couple of years ago.

  16. aaaha yes but the pay is bloody awful . had a guy round today to assess my bathroom (rented flat) and he basically offered me some part time work plumbing etc. 80-100 a day!! i have never earned that sort of ££ :cry:

  19. bugger you have just reminded me i suposed to have made a gear knob for a member on here!!!! he's bloody patient as he asked me before xmas :shock: send me an email with a drawing or something mate. and i will see what i can do. its all in my own time tho as i don't do it through work.   20. smaller machines then you. i have a colchester 2000,xyz protrak edge 2 axis cnc mill,xyz sm2000 2 axis cnc X2.plus a couple of manual mills. other side are woodworking tools used for plastic machining. eg planers,routers,spindles etc. we make anything from one off boat pulleys to batch work (mainly plastic) i mainly get the metal jobs eg stainless steel as most of the workshop stuff is for the food industry (full tooling prototyping to a set for production) put it this way bet everyone on this forum has ate something that i made the tooling for ;)
