  1. make sure that qoute is for a jap import if you are going to get an import as insurance companies have 2 different price bands. a jap import classified as a fairladyz WILL be more to insure than a uk spec classed as a 300zx twin turbo. i would hazzard a guess its for a uk spec that you have been quoted on and i would say that a jap imort to add approx 200-400 more. imo.

  3. yep 2 the others are bonded!
  4. over 2k rpm the o2 sensors will sweep from rich to lean. its exactly what they supposed to do for accurate fuel to air ratio. a lazy o2 sensor will be slower in the sweep or not work at all that one should be replaced if the fault is present.
  5. PCV valves are an easier job to replace on the z . personally i would do it yourself.

  7. no problem at least it did it in the up position. i went out shopping for the day and got all the way there ,got into the multistory found a parking space bought ticket! went to do up window F+@***g CAR lol had to drive all the way home but had it fixed in the hour :p
  8. recon its still the alarm tbh. most modern car alarms have 2 or more circuit cuts.
  9. yep its the little black box inside the drivers door. take it out carefully take it apart and resolder the joints. they are a common thing to fail and a unusual free fix. mine did it 2 years ago and its still going strong to this day.

  12. mine has a timed light but comes with my alarm system are you sure you havent got a badly installed alarm whiuch is causing a drain!
