Full Hicas Removal
- radiator water
Like Dutchy says, it sounds like corrosion. You might want to flush out your whole system and if funds stretch maybe a new rad and use ironised water with antifreeze not tap water as tap water has corrosive properties in it- Cloudy steering fluid
Hi Mate, I wouldn't worry too much at the minute, leave it till the morning then check it then. I think you will find that you have just aireated the fluid and made it frothy and it usually settles after a bit and goes back to normal but if in the morning you find its still the same then you may have an air leak somewhere. Check that your clips are tight etc.- Full Hicas Removal
Thanks for the advice mate- Full Hicas Removal
Well today I decided to rip out the hole Hicas system. That was the rear steering rack all the pipe work from the rear under the car to the front, the pump and the twin turbo pas pot and the front mount small oil cooler. In place of all this I will rebuild with a Hicas eliminator for the rear rack a N/A power steering pump and pas pot. This should help to make things a little tidy'r under the bonnet , oh and I have also ripped out that bloody bleed pipe for the clutch and fitted a different clutch master cylinder, Will post pics soon- 99spec rear lights
You will need you use of a hot hair gun to make the sealant soft so as to make removing easy- Photo Shoot Of Your Zeds........
