  10. thanx 51x, will defo get th 4 wheel alignment done cos it really does pull quite a bit to th left. yes, chunk said it was pinking (wot does that mean? i have noticed th revs dropping slightly then going back up when its idling, even when warmed up fully) th speedo is out by th same amount all th way round, do i jus get in ther n push it round manually till its reads zero? i dnt think il be seeing any sideways action for quite a while, im finding it imposible to get an insurance quoute for less than 3grand :(

  12. hey everyone, i finally got my hands on one of th beauties thanx to andytt and huge thanx to chunk for coming along to see th car with me. jus a few lil things i need to sort out on th car, dnt really matter how long it takes cos i wont be drivin it for a while. its a jap tt which has had th uk dials put on it BUT the reading on th speedometer is way out (approx 8-9 mph), do i need to get th dials recalibrated? iv got a rear fog which hangs under th rear bonnet like a honda prelude, id really like to have th top revers light on each side changed to fogs, is it a difficult thing to do yourself? wot would i need? anyone done it befor who could help me out? or would it be better to get it done by specialist? the cars pulling to th left slightly so gonna have to get tracking done, do i need to go somewher special cos th cars got hicas? any1 know anywher in or near leicester i could have it done? chunk said th cars running a bit lean, wot do i have to do to sort that out? thanx in advance guys! Yaseen
  13. so am i now! hehe cheers rich
  14. if th clock aint workin it could be th battery
  15. doesnt th z have recirculating valves, which are actually better performance wise than dump valves?
  16. I need a girl part II - P.Diddy
  17. i thougth so, couldnt have been a grand unless he had major problems needing fixed
  18. some guy i was talking to on th mr2 forum said it costs a grand to get th z serviced and he knows cos he had one. that cant be right can it?
  19. yeh but at th same time dnt u also make th leading corner go over the hump sooner than it would if u came at it straight on? i no it definatley would work if u approached th ramp at a very shallow angle, but then th car would be almost blocking th road so its impractical, is the small change in direction which is often taken worth th effort? would stiffer suspension also help protect a low body on riding over a hump? (wdnt b 2 comfortable tho)
  20. thanx clarkey do u get all of th styles in polywotsit and FG or does the material depend on each individual one? am sure if u go slow enough u could manage to get over a hump without any damage, my cousin hired a ferrari 355 for his weddin g bout 4 months back and that was really low, they dint seem to have too much trouble goin over humps tho. i have also seen ppl zig-zaging over humps, they drive up the hump at an angle and down th other side goin in th other direction. does this even work? i cant understand how it would
  21. with nearly every city having speed humps its obvious that a front end as low as th strosek original wouldnt last u a trip round th block. how much ground clearance do u need at th minimum to get away with a low front end over th humps? is ths affected by the size of ur wheels/tyres?
  22. lololololol nice one pete, took a while for it to click tho! oh yeh, congrats with th baby
