  9. definately not just a car. call me sad but i used to go out for drives for the sake of it cos i enjoyed driving the zed so much, th feeling you get is difficult to describe. any excuse to take the zed out was good enuf, even if it was "im bored at home". now i got the old old pug back driving has become more of a chore, cant even be arsed to go round the corner to tescos when i need to lol

  12. dnt get me wrong dave, i was absolutly gutted when i finally had to bite the bullet and let it go. of course id love to have another one again but if i did id want to spend tons on it to make it unique now that there are so many about. once you spend alot of money on modifying a car it has to be a car for life or your just really stupid, wealthy, or unlucky if you have no choice but to sell. ud never get anywhere near how much you spend back. iv done alot of thinking and its either buy another zed next year and spend loads on it for a few more years getting it to the standard i want. or keep the cheap run around for a few years, save the money id have spent on a zed, mods, insurance and go for something else...mmm...noble...drool... the 2nd option is much more attractive to me and financially sensible. it was my dream to own a 300zx and now iv been there so im not in any particular rush. just a matter of sacrifice now ...must...not...spend...!!!
  13. too many in leicester now i remember when i'd see one zed every 2-3 months, i now see one every weekend i come home from yorkshire. their rarity was one of the main reasons i fell for the zed but now there getting a bit common, kinda makes me a bit glad i dont have one anymore (in a wierd sort of way)
  14. definately not. i was always lead on by the stereotype of auto cars (which may well be close to reality in the majority of cases) but the zed is another story. after having had an auto, i would never let that make me decide against zed
  15. 18? im sure mine was insured under group 20
  16. ouch, did the same to my tension rod when i kinda drove into a fence. iv got about 3 i think, one very good one you can have for £25. if thats all you need then let me know...even if you need anymore, let me know yaseen
  17. echoing the posts above, my thoughts are with you dave i think it was 2000 i was admitted to hospital with suspected viral meningitis (not as dangerous but still disabling). started off with being sick so many times th only thing coming out was the green crap in your stomach, headaches, stiff neck, feeling really weak. had all the symptoms and spent 3-4 days in hospital. plenty of antibiotics and fluids, one lumber puncture (how painful!), constant headache for at least a week after everytime i was upright. dont know if i was lucky or if it was just a coincidence i had all the symptoms of meningitis but they never did find out what was wrong.
  18. you can get to the tank from the wheel arch, no need to remove the headlight (i know cos i had to change mine after i smashed it up in a prang) remove wheel, inner arch lining then just unbolt and unclip, simple yaseen
