because its the weight of the car, the wheel has no choice but to stop spinning, as there is not enough energy in the wheels to propel the car faster than it was already going. hard to explain. you would think the tyres would screech a little though

That has always been the problem with the British, we just sit back and moan and accept it. But they would probably get the Army out to move us on if we started protesting properly! I have run LPG cars for about 10 years now, and the peformance decrease is minimal. The company that converted my last car see's no reason why you couldn't convert a Z, there are conflicting views on this site about it if you do a search. As for MPG, i would say about 14mpg but since its half the price that equates to 28mpg urban that is, and more on a run. Yes thats what you see burning from the big chimmeys on the rigs
