A chance to own this very beautiful car, Storsek a design and manufacturing company was in partnership with nissan at the time to do a facelift, with a wide-bodied conversion. Planned in steel and to be fitted at the factory, but with a price tag of over $50.000 already, the project was dropped by nissan and Storsek continued with the project but in GRP. A replica GRP kit was installed by the previous owner at the cost of 15 grand in 2005. The wheels fitted to this car are special order only, genuine storsek wheels.OZ 17" split rim with a massive off-set so no wheel spaces needed to fill these beautiful wide arches. The car sits on fully adjustable coil-overs. The car was then fitted with full cream leather with red piping to compliment the red paintwork. Also fitted a Ken-wood sound system, cleverly installed with a flip out head unit, a separate equalizer, 10 box CD changer with amps,all hidden as not to spoil the look of this fantastic interior. Under the bonnet various bright-work and new silicon pipes, but engine and 5 speed transmission on the whole has been left untouched, apart from a Thatchem approved alarm. The speedometor is reading 91 thou km and to convert makes this a low milladge 56,500 mile car backed up buy all its mots and the folder full of its history. The cars got running eight months MOT left to run. Tyres Dunlope sport up the front with 235-45-17 with loads of tread left and Vredstein 275-40-17 tyres at the rear only bought less than six months ago. Bad points, front plastic scuttle panel needs replacing and there are a very few stone-chip marks on the car but you will have to look very hard to find them. Can do with a set of front brake pads. overall a beautiful car and one that gets so much attention were ever you go. There is a genuine reason for sale, due to the fact i have another restoration project that needs much needed funding. willing to meet you halfway if comming from a distance.im in norwich norfolk. Ive yrt to see her as shes note on my door step and seeing that these cars are more rare than the 240 i want to make sure all the bits are there that need to be as i cant get certain bits now.like all the bling gor a start.

Found these today a very rare 1976 datsun260z 2 plus2. Not as desirable as the two seater even though im led to belieave there more rare. and at a price weres i should be able to keep my swb 300.happy days.

Pending what comes along steve and how mad i go. But whatever i do has to be done from scratch on these .. ant going to be cheap.a strip down of a compleate car.a glass blasted back to bare metal .thats a grand to do just to get to see whats left.got an engine and good box sorced already. Just need to find the right shell/ car. Not to bothered about the chasses rails rotton and floor.as long as the turrett tunnels and the rear quaters are in good shape. Floor can be made new.new sills etc. If i get a compleate car then itll be easyer and cheaper from the start.its probly going to cost anyware between 2.5k to 3.5k just for the rotten shell. So pending how quick it comes along. Then yes my car will go.

Thanks for that link but im going to need a compleate car.to start with even if it is rusty as trying to find and replace every little bit of trim would run into the thousands so im needing a compleate car.cheers though. Good find.

With ref to you more power. well ive already thought about this and a fourty year old 150bhp car would bore me also. I have over the last week being spending my days doing tonnes of homework into the gtr rb26 dett engine that fits into these cars but the parts are one very exspensive and for around the same power or less in most cases than a standered 300zxtt.unless you have deep pockets so thats were im now in the process of thinking ill be better of pluming in a 300zxtt engine in there.and with the power to weight ratio it would be a rocket as those cars weigh loads less than a 300 . Thats what im thinking at the moment. And parts are cheaper. i think a 240z running 400plus would be awsome.

Not into there motors. But the shell is a sexy looking car but really.ive got a grand to gamble on a rotten shell. Untell you get it up in the air you cant tell. And if its that bad buy the time you jack it up to late because the chassis would have aready have twisted .the door gaps are going to be way out.thats why most 240s and 260s are not straght. How much money are you willing to gamble away on a rotton chassis thats 40 years old.i know you can brace them up but not if you having a look.what can u do take scaffolding pipe and a weilder with you.see.i have a passion for zeds but stuck. Rant over.would u gamble anymore than a grand at a turn of a card/ car.?
