But thats what the normal area is for, would be nice to see all updates on peoples projects in one place without the junk to wade though and multiple threads as well as the updates with comments we have now.

lol Cant im not subscribed lol What I ment was, anyone can start a thread (like the normal forum) then once a thread is started a Mod or Admin will go into that thread and lock it so only the person who started it can add to it. Dont know if thats what you've done cos i cant see it lol. Maybe Project Progress would be a more apt title?

Instead of it being an all singing dancing area made for it, all you need is a new section the same as the rest of the forum that when someone creats a topic it gets locked to just them being able to edit/add to it.

Why dont we have a photo progress area. Where lets say your car is going for a colour change and wide arse etc. You start a thread in that area that is locked down for only you to add things, that way each time there is an update it does not get bogged down with comments and everyone can easly see the progress. Trying to follow things like he V8 conversions is hard work when you only want to see/read how its progressing without skipping over the 8000 posts of "It looks great" and "Cant wait to see it on the road" Thoughts??

I dont think I'd agree with Slick Pete, I think breaking would get you a lot. Not an engine as a whole, but properly breaking it and putting each bit on ebay no reserve! Plenum, cas, maf, ptu, tps, brake servo, brake calipers, exhaust, windscreen, other glass, interior, indicator stalks, dials, ecu, carpets, targas, radiator, intercoolers, alloys, spare wheel. those on their own should see at least £500 on ebay. Not a great deal but all come off easy and would be gone within the week. Then there are loads of other bits that will come off and see easy. Worth thinking about.

Brother had one and they drive superb. Through the twisties they will leave a Zed for dead, the power doesn't feel anywhere near as good as the TT Z32 but about on par with an N/A. BUT you do need to keep them revs up! Solidly built car with great looks and an engine note to die for! Also VERY VERY reliable! And can pick up a good one for less than 8K now.

Just i screw/bolt if i remember, just need to jack on side of the car up. Easy 5 min job.

Toothbrush and some GUNK and will clean off easy ;)

Yes its series 1, get a series2 from MJP in the traders area. It comes with its own wiring adaptor to plug into the existing loom.
