IMHO and you will most likely take offence to this but I think it was worth about 3.5k before the engine fault and about 2.5k now. Speaking to other members about your car (And not in a bad gossip slagging off way just talking to each other in general Z chatter about all the zeds on the forum) the overall concensus was that it was well overpriced and nothing but trouble, most said wouldn't touch it if it was free. And the latest engine problem seems to slam the nail well and truly into the coffin proving the touble stigma right:( . Those were my thoughts from the start of the sale and are echoed by others when asked "what do you think of Sella's car for sale?" They all come back with "Looks great but wouldn't touch it myself, he'll have problems shifting it at the price" Now this is complete honesty and no doubt I'll get shot down and barraged with trator for saying so, but then people dont like it when the truth is spoken out loud. I think your best bet would be get it to Z world for an engine transplant (Or knocking fixed wherever) and get shot on ebay for 3.5k or as it is for 2.5k I really dont see you getting any more than that. Sorry dude its not ment as a snipe, just trying to tell you how it is. And anyway, I know naff all about Zeds and everyone hates me anyway so what I say means feck all and can be ignored anyway :duffer:

Think all Z owners have been there at some point fella, I know I have. Just have to work out if to YOU the cost is worth it? Or if you add up all the bills could you buy another car that wont break so much you would enjoy just as much without all the headaches?? My first Z the silver one I spent £13k in 18 months including buying. Looking back I wish I'd have bought something else with all the money, but then also look back with the fondest of memories of that car. Funny eh!

I have not argued once about it being a week point???? I have argued from the start that there are people who think the auto is capable of higher BHP than a manual, Which it is! I have not back peaddled once I have completely stayed with exactly what I first stated Well thats complete shit, no none with upped boost lasts more than 1000 miles untill the stock clutch needs upgrading (remember YOU are refering to stock here). And please dont say a clutch is not part of a manual box again :rofl: Yes they do, at no point have I said they dont. Again and I will say this slowly so you can grasp it Replacing the drivetrain internals to uprated ones to handle bigger power??? :headvswal The guy was asking about capabilities, not about the factory stock. And it is an agument point that the auto box is CAPABLE of holding more power than the manual (where is macca when you need him). BOTH will need to be uprated if your running more than stock boost so why would I be refering to a stock box when talking about uprated power?

Who said stock? Same as no one is saying stock clutches for the manual box ;)
