:rofl: Oh dear, dont fool yourself. At BEST its 400 watts RMS, and I mean at VERY best, running in LAB conditions on an AC circuit with a non varying load and running at 100% efficaincy at 1ohm. Real world, DC, varying load, 50-60% efficiancy at 4ohm = 100ish true RMS That said, its a very nice amp and would be great for your needs and even more!

Sounds most likely to be the TPS (throttle Position Sensor). If not set up correctly can cause bad gearchages on the auto box. Here is the how to guide to set it up. Little comparison for you. A true 250watt RMS qualty amp that costs over a grand And a pretend 1000 watt amp that costs £90 Now im not saying that you need to spend thousands, but you really do need to ignor power ratings and what people say about big numbers. The first amp would blow up most speakers under £200 on the market in a blink of an eye if you let it, the second would be underpowered and sound like poo. Trick is to find a ballance between the two. Hard to do on a budget but not impossible :)

Can get an ok 12" 250 watt (RMS) generic setup plonkned in for £180 Or an ok single 10" 200 watt (RMS) setup made to fit for £220 (do it yourself) Or an ok dual 10" 300 watt (RMS) setup made to fit for £300 (do it yourself)

Yeah could have been a flaw in the gasket or poorly fitted or anything like that really. Does seem the most likely cause though.

To be honest, its very hard to give an idea without it all infront of you to look at. Surely Mikey should know as he has everything right there to see whats what??? Mixed oil and water doesn't sound good, thats two seperate leaks. Would very much doubt its the tubs. Only place I cant think of is head gasket fella where water and oil can meet AND get into the tubs AND cause white smoke. Unless silverbullet has started shipping them pre filled with oil and water lol
