Yeah my brothers car that one, he just imported it from the States. Its a show winner, 23 out of 23 shows came 1st. very clean car and does a standing quater mile in 15 seconds too! (was built in 1960 remember!) :bow:

I had 225's all round on my Z. Really could have done with more tyre on the road once Id finnished with the mods. But as a stock ish setup (exhaust, air filter) they gripped the road fine.

Let it cool, fill it up and run it with the bonnet up and look for leaks/steam. Once youve found the problem, fix it! Thats the best I can give mate, Also well worth buying the silicone pipe kit from Smithy in the traders area, if your starting to get holes, best stop more from happening. Replace as much of the old rubber pipes as you can

Not sure but wouldn't dodgey O2 sensors cause this if you have already illiminated the MAF?

Hope the overheating has not caused other problems mate. In future if your Z overheats, pull over rite away and let it cool down. Yes look for holes in pipes, they do go rottern

Sorry ive got no sympathy at all for people who drive at twice the speed limit ESPECIALLY in a residential area (30mph) and get caught. You know what you’re doing, and you know you shouldn’t be doing it. Bit your lip and take whatever punishment you’re given. IMHO

80 - 90k I would say is about the average life span (yes i know some last longer and others less) All in MHO of course.
