Trust me, I got caught out on this one before, pop the cap off the hazard switch, and see if the indicators start to work, it'll be some thing daft like that as there is really nothing else to disturb.

Check the hazard light switch isnt slightly depressed. If it is, give it a cuddle and cheer it up!!!! You know what I mean, make sure the hazard switch is not being fouled by the pod casing, making it 'on' slightly.

No they are not, and to be honest, the play in the rear's, is usually at the end where they screw into the Hicas unit, instead of the outside ball joints, like where the fronts wear out.
