  2. Hi zed32bolt, from Bournemouth I see :D I have been looking at the 350z but not really doing it, the 370z is tempting but a little too expensive! Is MAC1 still about, he had one, if not the fastest zed on here back in the day?
  3. * Jay until 2011, really must proof read ;)
  4. The exactly the same as I felt when Jay drove it away, still think about it now lol I had it Oct 2000 to Feb 2006 and then until July 2011, that's 11 years of care for that car!! My sister lives in Birmingham have to ask her to keep a look out ;)
  5. Hi Gary, cheers mate that is a shame wonder is he is still alive and kicking!! Been checking out the for sale section, will have to be another swb TT, suppose better check out the insurance lol Used to have a classic car policy, are they still available? Cheers - - - Updated - - - *she

Hi All, not been on here for years, contemplating coming back to the dark side after 7 years for a weekend fun car :) I see Jay sold my old Zed is the owner on here? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?152868-***SOLD***-300ZX-SWB-Wide-Arch-New-Pics-***SOLD*** Wouldn't mind buying her back!! 8. this has been on my list for a while and your h/w kit looks good. what are you thinking for the os as I don't think you can buy windows media center edition in a box. I did download and try http://www.team-mediaportal.com/ but my current graphics card just wasn't up to the job - otherwise it looked good. I also got confused about the sound card as I have a yamaha dolby digital 6.1 / dts amp - do I just need a card with a optical out to pass a digital source to my amps optical in?
  9. :( just up the road from me, terrible for all concerned. RIP Martin
  10. good site for info http://www.parkingticket.co.uk/ ;)

  15. Also when you get to the airport in bangkok approach one of the limo drivers, he will take you down town for ~400bt (cheaper than a taxi) and fully air con with leather. If you go up north go by 1st class over night sleeper train - costs the same as a hotel for the night ;) and finally number one rule don't be tempted to buy / take any drugs. They do piss tests in the clubs and if positive I hope you have plenty of cash or your looking at a long long time in the bangkok hilton :(
  16. I recommend chiang mai, really pleasant city and loads to do including treking, elephant shows and treks, snake shows, white water river rafting, thai boxing, 2 good night clubs (they are next to each other and ones called bubbles iirc) and a couple of places open all night for food and beer. We stayed at the chiang mai gardens for ~800 bt a night (£11) - was ok. Also koi samui for the beaches (chaweng the best) and bangkok (recommend the sukhumvit area, just avoid soi cowboy and nana plaza ;) ). I'm going for a third visit in Jan and gonna visit kanchanaburi where the POW camps where and the bridge over the river kwai. If its your honeymoon don't go to pattaya (lads hols only lol) but they do have a really good karting track http://www.karting-thailand.com/index_english.html Great country with loverly ppl (not called land of smiles for nothing), excellent food - you must have tom yam kung soup and everything is so bloody cheap. Keep some money for clothes etc. I spent around 2k all in for 4 weeks.
  17. All new and cost me a fortune
  18. Totally agree with Goit - I bought Linksys and it is shite - spend a little bit more. You will need a wireless ADSL router. You will want 54G equipment and it to ideally support WPA-PSK. Just type in 64 hex chars into the router/gateway and put the same into each 'client'. Also best to hide the SSID and use MAC address filtering. You also need to set up a subnet use 192.168.1.1/24 or similar and log onto the router using a web browser. Just enter the router's IP address. You will need to set your IP address to the same network or it may have dhcp enabled. HTH Martin
  19. Nice one Ryan, you did an excellent job on my zed, would recommend you to anyone :D
  20. Yeah I have used him for servicing and general maintenance (brakes, dump valves, spark plugs etc) and had no problems. He wasn't willing to do the head gasket (said not worth it but he would be happy to fit a recon engine) I disagreed and so Ryan did that. His boss used to own one so he has had good experience. They are Nissan specialists. Martin
  21. Did you not try Simon at Park Garage (01202) 523000? Reminded about getting Chris's number for you aswell ;)
  22. lol great place, been 3 times - never hookered it up there tho (leave that to prague and thailand  ) As already mentioned the Grasshoppper and Bulldog are both good and a tour round the heineken factory also worth while. Ignore any offers of drugs from the street vendors, not worth the risk and have a good / high time lol Martin
  23. http://www.avforums.co.uk ;)
  24. Hi guys, again can only repeat, the weather was sh*ite, saved my tyres tho lol Hope you all got home ok, like mentioned above a think a sunday could be better. Some loverly zeds there and good to meet new and old again. Jay my mate Mark was inspired by your driving in the car park :D, he wants lessons now lol, told him he'll have to go buy a zed ;) Martin
