ok this is freaking me out. took the car to work after writing the above post and it was FINE!!!! :eek: even on the way back! i fingered the zorst (ooer) and it was a bit damp (had been raining) but no oil and no smoke. is the Z doing an impression of a psychopathic ex-girlfriend, or has the problem sorted itself out, or will it all go to pot again tomorrow? and will i ever sort my gearbox out? stay tuned.
