yeah TBH doom 3 is great for the first couple of hours (your jaw will :shock: at the gfx), but then it gets a bit repetitive, but im sure youll enjoy it anyways. me and me mate saw it through to the bitter end (with only a small amount of cheating ;) )

Im in exactly the same boat mate and have a garage full of manual gearbox waiting to go in. My advice (as a non-expert): keep it in '2' and dont use 'D' - it should still be okay (read this thread! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=42658 ) Disconnect battery for an hour to reset ecu (long shot but you never know!). aye, wasnt fun, especially on the way back with about 100kg of manual gearbox in the boot!!! any guesses at the total value of petrol used?

Took a 200-mile-round journey to Andy's to pick up bits for a manual conversion - with only 1st and 2nd gears working - and didnt have a single problem!!! :bow: :bow: Imagine spending half an hour at a time at 5000rpm in 2nd gear on the A-roads :eek: :slap: then popping into N for a downhill bit or when approaching a roundabout, then back into 2 at full blast again! Needless to say I set my tubby timer to about 5 hours wind-down afterwards!!!
