  1. We are pleased to announce are going to be our media partners for this event, so come along and maybe your car will appear in a national magazine B) This is open to all owners of all Japanese cars, everyone is welcome. Non Japanese cars are also welcome but will be parked in a separate carpark, so even if you don't own a Japanese car but are interested, come along and have a look round and chat. We look forward to seeing you there. Alex B Tatsu CarClub and The Willow Foundation
  2. We hope to see as many of you there as possible. Alex Buckley Tatsu Car Club, http://www.Tatsu-Charity-Meet.co.uk
  3. Unfortunately yes. We've doen quite a bit with J-Tuner, they have done 2 write ups on our club meets, as well as a feature on our fammily cars and 2 small shoots for a new feature they were launching. All magazine writers are friendly, but Matt and Steve are so down to earth and involved in the scene it really showed through the magazine, without doubt the best Japanese car magazine out and the only car magazine I would be gutted about losing! Alex B
  4. Well its only what I was told, also what I was told by my mate who had them in his R34 GTT, (as standard), and what I saw from a set fitted to an R32 GTR we had in work, personally for £500 I'd want to see an immense improvement over uprated bulbs. Though I guess it depends how bright your standard lights are! Out of interest, what rating are you using? Alex B
  5. I've been told b ymy electrician that HID kits aren't all they're made out to be, you're beeter off getting a pair of uprated bulbs, the R32 GTR Skyline has the same problem, I bought a pair off Ebay, much better than standard and only cost me £5 posted. Alex B
  6. I've just bought a set from Invo auto for my R32 GTR, apparently they are the same, and have been used by Abbey Motorsport, who said they're good, so thats good enough for me! Cost me £160 the pair and are fully camber adjustable. Alex B
  7. R34's had gold calipers, though they look a bit small to be GTR Brembos. Alex B
  8. Billing is so much better for JAE than EoE, this year JAE was just another car show, whereas every year it has been at Billing, (been going for a few years now, aswell as doing the American car shows there), it has had a really good atmosphere, one that you will never get at a dedicated show ground, it has always been the show to look forward to, one that the traders look forward to doing, clubs look forward to kicking back and relaxing etc, (we're trade aswell so know from experience, as well as the traders we speak to). I understand the reasons its moved having spoken to Claire several times about it, so know that it can't go back to Billing, but I do feel sorry that it has lost that special charm that sets it apart from every other show of the year. :( Alex B
  9. If you're going from dark blue to a brighter colour, I'd definately do the front wing returns, (into the engine bay), inside the doors and door shuts, boot shut etc. Shouldn't worry too much about colour matching, there are very few colours that can't be matched if you're good, and the mixer is good, (thats the difficult part!), even custom paints can be matched. Alex B
  10. Anyway, (Z)Master, if you're going to all the work of painting the car, ( I assume windows out everything stripped etc), I'd definately do door shuts, boot and bonnet returns. What colour you changing it from? Alex B
  11. amn second picture didn't work! Alex B
  12. Last post from me, he can have his thread back then! ;) This may have been in plain light, but the camera had a hell of a flash and obviously professional! Whereas this has no flash, maybe if we'd put the halogen light on it aswell it wouldn't look so flat, but it was just a quick, amateur photo. :) Alex B
  13. Then you can't say it's flat, we apinted it so know exactly what the paint is like, and it's far from flat! Alex B
  14. The mercialago is a different colour yes, have you seen the supra other than in pics? Alex B

So is it just Pj and Anna meeting us in the morning? Alex B
