  1. Sounds like your PCV valves. I had the same problem. The springs become weak over time. They move about with the movement of the car especially when braking to a standstill, hense the near stall. Easy to fix and the parts are quite cheap. Andy
  2. Still active although I no longer have the Z. Unemployed IT Infrastructure Manager/Project Manager....

KS-ROM Do a search on google. These are pre-mapped ep-rom upgrades. The switch is there to alternate between the type of power/driving you require. So....you have more than one "timing-A/F" mapping on a single ep-rom and you change it depending on how you want to drive the car or the boost you are running etc. Andy

  7. OK, Do you have any idea where it came from or who supplied it? The wiring on the speedo is simple - I know which wires to cut into on the looms on the car. This unit sounds like a simple 4 wire convertor. If I can remember (i need to double check), 1 wire on the unit will "cut" into the live (probably the red one), I wire will "cut" into the earth, probably the black one and the remaining 2 wires will bypass the the speed signal wire. Its just finding out which way round as one goes to the speed sensor end and the other, the speedo cluster end, hense the signal is bypassed though the convertor. I will check with Luke at the Z centre who supplies convertors for the Z. From what I can remeber, the colours sound exactly the same...otherwise it will just be trial and error getting the green and blue wire the correct way around - 50/50. Where abouts are you based? Cheers Andy
  8. I've fitted a few speed sensors before. Let me know which one you have and I'll tell you if I can help. Cheerz Andy
