  3. What shall i do about my trim on the top because the covering has split showing the chrome underneath. Painting seems the best option. Then again i could buy two second hand bits that haven't split. Any pics of finished products yet??;)
  4. Just going to get my car resprayed and was wondering how much does it cost to replace the trims on the car? Including the scuttle panels and targa trims. Just a ball park figure. Im trying to con the wife......sorry, i mean convince LOL:wack:

  6. Im waiting for mine to go now:headvswal:eek: (again) box number 3. No more for me chef.........give me manual. Im loosing hair over this car FFS:rant:
  7. Could be the rear sub frame bushes. Look underneath the rear and look at the bushes. Are they wet with a grease, if so they are gone. Don't worry though you can buy some cup covers for 35 quid and will sort it. Thats what im doing instead of replacing the bushes and having to split the frame.
  8. I thought the same bud, but you got there first LOL:rofl:
  9. PMSL:D that made me giggle!!!! Hi all, good to see everyone back. Had PaulG and Munjina on the other night, whats happening. Wheres the rest??;)
  10. Strange. wonder what happens if you get a stone chip or someone keys your car (like happens in UK!!). How would you explain this to the insurance LOL !!??
  11. Joel thanks for that buddy. Is there anyway to see if its the brake servo. Must be some tip to do with these cars LOL:D
  12. No bud, no judder or anything, just squeak, squeak!!!
  13. It sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllsssssssss and squeaks when i have slowed down and im in a built up area or a slow traffic jam. My brakes are not applied. It goes if a feather the foot brake. It seems to be touching. Its not a full squeeeeeeek, just squeak, squeak etc.......
  14. But its so imbarrassing (if thats how you spell it!!) when in traffic. Its well bad!!
  15. Thats the problem bud. They don't squeak on cold only on hot!!
  16. yer your right, uk had heated seats and jap had electric mirrors.
  17. Cheers bud, Yer if fitted the new leather seats. They have the elements but as i said looks as if the wiring has to be put in. Think Gumball has a switch up for grabs on the for sale threads.:)
  18. I have a heater switch for leather seats that i got a few years back. My car is a jap import and had the normal tweed seats in and the electric mirror switch in the center console. Ive looked at the two switches and was wondering if anyone had adapted or could give me some advise on what plug and wiring etc i need to play with. Before i get the magical electrical experiance that you get when you start cutting wires on these zeds LOL:headvswal
  19. Just put some mintex on. Nothing special really.
  20. I posted this problem up a few weeks ago. Story so far. Car had been sitting for along time due to engine problems. I got car back and brakes started to squeal etc. So i changed pads, renewed fluid and exercised all pistons to make sure none were siezed. All was ok then this last week started again. So once again i copper greased everything!! Pistons exercised again and even grease them but the problem is still there. It doesn't happen on initial drive only after a few miles. If i press the brake pedal slightly it stops, indicating that the pistons are not returning. Just asking before i rebuild the calipers, does the master cylinder play up on these cars. Its only happening on the fronts!!?? How much are rebuild kits??;) Cheers Jonce
  21. Ive been eating loads for years. Get it cheap from the US army shop (PX). Well nice.....the spicy one is!!! Expensive in UK though(ain't everything though!!)
