  1. I have one for sale at the moment in the for sale section and someone has asked me if the "spec S" is suitable for the TT? and that isnt the twin solenoid "spec R" the right one for the TT. As I bought it from an advert on this very forum I assumed it was for the ZX, however I have no way of knowing asI never actually fitted it to my car. CAn some one please confirm if the spec S BC with a single solenoid is suitable for the TT Many thanks in advance
  2. Thanks guys, opens up alot more options now
  3. I think I have read somewhere recently that it is possible to fit a NA exhaust system to TT car, would this work or is this completely obsurd?
  4. I have always noticed it in the cars Ive had in the past i.e crisper at night, but the difference now is quite distinct.......would a mild chip, possibly chipped for just an airfilter, would that get rid of a flat spot?
  5. ok, so i'll look out for fog, i'll even call it vamp if its going to help ;) any other takers?
  6. Ive noticed that my zed (1993 TT manual) drives alot nicer at night. During the day there is sometimes a flat spot at the upper end of the rev range and its not as responsive, overall doesnt feel as fast as at night. From what ive read this is because the air at night is more dense, hence a greater volume of air entering engine and hence increased amount of combustion. Whats the best thing to do to make it drive during the day as it does at night?? FMIC? chip? or...?? thanks in advance!
  7. ZX-eyes I think you should be officially crowned "the pics posting master!!"
  8. sure you dont mean 3000, that sounds about right???
  9. yup, its the best colour, no doubt hehe
  10. not sure what u mean?
  11. a fellow Didsburian! good stuff, so you spotted the Tesco carpark in the pics!although I'm in Birmingham most of the time nowadays I must say your car looks real nice and I'm sure it goes real well judging by the amount of things you've done to it!
  12. thanks for that! i have been knocking about on here for a while, and was a registered user last year, but now ive got a zed and have posted some pics on the newbie section!
  13. Not quite a new Zed as Ive had it since April just not had a chance to take pics and then post them, basically i can be a lazy ass! its a manual TT Lwb with leather sitting on some 19's, im the first owner in UK :D its done just over 65,000 its nice its blue and i love it  Went out to Dean (Dean300zx) to pick up some gauges that i bought from him, he said ive got adjustable suspension front and rear and adjustable camber arms, thanks Dean! This prob explains why it handles so well for such a heavy car, I just lurve going around roundabouts in it! Lol as far as i can see it is box standard apart from grooved disk brakes at the front and an airfilter that I put on, but its pretty darn fast so i'll be interested to see what its boosting when i hook up the gauges. Collected a few bits for it such as an EBC, short throw gear shifter, just need a chip and its ready to go, although I’m not going to get that done yet as its fine as it is , i’ll treat myself at some point :D
  14. not good, but glad to hear nothing more serious happened ...you'll never guess what i was just doing? looking at bikes on ebay, thinking about getting one (my first road bike), its never good when u hear a story like this! hope your all mended up asap!
