Hello I'm new here to the forums. Was advised by a friend to post here as I'm having serious trouble with my car and am looking for some advice.
Someone replaced the power steering belt for me, and afterwards the car would not start :(
There is no compression when trying to start the car. Diagnostic test says the coolant sensor and ignition primary are at fault, though the mechanic said it may be the timing due to the lack of compression.
I'm absolutely baffled by this, as the car was running perfectly before the new belt was fitted.
I live in Sheffield, so if anyone could offer advice or knows of a good garage/mechanic in Sheffield who could help, please do let me know.
