Hi ya, the plastic / nylon fixings that secure the window to the main lifting arm... One of mine has snapped on the drivers side, so the window cant be raised / lowered. I'm wanting to replace the part, but where can i get this item from? Cheers for any help, advice in advance. Pete

Any Nissan dealer, but they will need to import.

Lowered mine by 20mm and struggled with scraping...Lots! Looks great but.... So went back to standard springs... I still hate speed bumps...

Hiya, what are the mount fitting sizes the front and rear speakers? i need to replace all 4 standard speakers with some reasonably priced quality alternatives... Was thinking JBL, good quality and low cost... opinions?

Fluid on the exhaust... What colour smoke? Take the oil cap off... If there is white 'mayo' in the lid of the oil cap, then either, head gasket or sh@tty oil.

Cars been off the road and not started for 5 months... Fired her up and tapity, tapity...But went away once properly warmed up. Changing the oil (n filter) to Silko' 10-50, made it worse but again dies away once warmed up...But then after a little blat around, and getting it properly warmed up and settling to idle the tapping comes back, so have defo have a something wrong with the value springs and / or lifters. So thinking about buying the replacment parts and doing the job myself with a little help from a mate. I know its pricey to get all the springs and lifters changed at a garage but is it a tough job to undertake to change these parts?

The foam comes with all standard fr bumpers! ;) I chucked mine out, along with the hose pipes for the front (windscreen!) headlight squirters, when i changed to a jap spec fr bumper.

Check the handbook regarding oil pressure guage... Hovering above 0 is normal when (in my case) sat in traffic...

Goto Nissan main dealer if you want a parts price list for a 300ZX. I did. Got the whole lot, schematics, serial numbers and price list. £460 for a front bumper! £110 for a number plinth! Then speak to Paul and ask about 2nd hand parts and charge the Insurance Co the full ammount and either pocket the difference, or get some additional work done for free. ;) It sounds like the repair shop are playing you along. I'd go somewhere else for your car repaired.

DONT use AUTOGLASS... they ****ed mine up big time! And then refused to accept responsibility! Ended up paying 500+ quid for another replacement windscreen... Insurance paid me back. Windscreens are easily available, never had an issue finding someone to fit one.

I thought that was illegal? Clocks/milage have to stay the same with the chassis of the car. Is'nt it?
