  1. Some good ideas. BUT if anyone ever attempts to start my car when I'm sleeping, it sure as hell will wake me up. Grand theft alarm .
  2. You'd only get tired if it was your daily drive. I've only done a few thousand miles in the last 6 years. When i do drive it I want it to be different and a bit crazy I also take it out when I wanna get my own back on the world Seen as I drive a smart car on a regular basis and everyone on the road steps all over me. Complete opposite in my zed, people sometimes pull over to let me pass, or they always let me pull out just to see the car and give me a thumbs up.
  3. Bloody el. Bury st edmunds brings back some memories. Surely being a straight through 3inch pipe all the way to the back should cost less aswell right? No need to buy silencers just 3jnch pipe ?
  4. Yassa, PLEASE. Show me pictures of yours. And maybe even a video with sound. Have a few ideas now of what I want it to look like.
  5. Yes yes YES that's what I want but that's only available For Shorties. Soooo, will have mine custom made. Sounds like a great idea frankly. Watch this space. Coming soon to an A road near you.
  6. Yeah you're right but, I AM THE LAW..... Like I said I'd have the option of having back boxes on and off. Here's a vid I found on YouTube with them off from the front although mine would be all the way to the back So would sound better.... I recon. Take off sounds insane. Idle not so nice...
  7. Curious to know what a z32 would sound like with just straight through stainless 3inch pipes and no back boxes/silencers? Like it's blowing? I've started it with just downpipes on it and it sounded like a tractor lol Wanna have 3inch custom pipes all the way to the back with no silencers but hVe welded bolt joins at the end where the bad boxes would be so I can have the option of running with or without them. Am I mad?
  8. Ah he must have passed away by now.... Ah ah ah not staying alive.
  9. Ah thank you, I have a few plans for it yet. Trying to enjoy it on the road a little more.
  10. I haven't gone anywhere. This thread brought back some memories. Ah I just use this site for my own selfish requirements. He he
  11. How did you have the q45 maf setup? If i remember correctly you had a single Turbo conversion, so big pipes I'm guessing?
  12. Ok thanks guys, now thinking of what to do..... Change all the intercoolers piping, but then the intercoolers are still 2inch. So would have to change those too. Like you said only as strong as the weakest link, so I'm kinda stuck.
  13. Another question, if installing a dual intake setup do I need both maf's connected or just one dummy and one connected? Will be installed when mapped, so surely It will be programmed correctly to make up the extra 50% Might have to use another q45 Maf, bit overkill but I don't have the old stock Maf. So Will be x2 q45 setup. Will need a 135degree 51mm to 90mm reducer hose. Tight fit and don't know where il find this type of reduce anywhere. Can only find 51mm - 76mm 135degree reducers
  14. Or maybe have someone make a larger bored T pipe to fit the maf without a reducer?
  15. I thought I'd watch a film and come back online to some lovely replies. Any idea what a q45 maf is capable of? - - - Updated - - - I'm very impatient.........
  16. I currently have a Q45 maf setup which seems very reliable. But is it restricting possible HP as opposed to having a dual maf setup? Question is, do I need a dual intake setup or is the current good enough for my setup? Q45 intake Single dump valve conversion with balance pipe In between. Gt25r turbos Godspeed intercoolers, with proper ducting All the unnessessary crap bypassed ie egr Catch tank. Forged pistons and rods Hotter spark plugs AMS manifolds Z1 downpipes 2.5inch full de at exhaust (currently squished a little and has the remains of a plastic bag stuff to it see pic below.....oops) Surely this isn't good for performance? Next on list is a 3inch fabricated exhaust from downpipes back which will be tucked under properly to avoid the same happening. I'm sure NOZ has the answers? Just need some expert advice before I go spending loads of money.
  17. It's ok, it was my accumsump braided hose, was touching the downpipe, so must have gotten hot and split. New one ordered and will be relocated.
  18. As pictured below, leak is Coming from passenger side of the sump. And you can see it running down the side of the sump and dripping onto the ground pretty quickly. Am I right in thinking it's prob from the passenger side turbo oil hoses which I've labeled below with a ? Now, before I get under the car, is this pipe easily accessed under the car? Can I remove it while engine is still in?
  19. Yes I remember mine having these. They Don't screw in very well.
  20. Yeah you're right it wouldn't pass on drive by sound test. At the mo it doesn't even pass on the stationary test but they let me do a fly by test anyway and it's ok. So, how much should I be paying for a turbo back system? And how Much from downpipes back?
