  1. Ok simon, I may give him a call soon. Thanks.
  2. Ok, where is jimmer? Bristol?
  3. Mark Rawlings? Jimmer is in Bristol right?
  4. Ahh I need this done and I've just realized Jeff has retired, who else can do this job for me?
  5. Well these wheels haven't had much use recently, pointless me keeping them. Listed in eBay £600 but happy with £500 on here. Will fit any zed with no modifying of the arches or anything else. Here's what I wrote on eBay saves me typing again: Here are my used gold advan racing wheels with extremely sticky semi slick r888's. With plenty of tread left. These are pretty light and in ok condition just need a good clean as covered in break dust. I used these on one track day (not drifting day) so the treads are pretty new as you can see in the pics. They were fitted to my Nissan 300zx so will fit other vehicles with the same PCD. They are 17inch wheels and 9inch wide and offset et35 all round, please see pics of fitment/size stamp which are on the inside of the rims. The Tyres: toyo r888- x2 245/40/17 x2 255/40/17 for a staggered fit front and rear. AWESOME grip like no other tyre. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!!!! from postcode n13 4pt For more info - Tel: 07915608451
  6. Poo would rather give someone some lovely cash monies to do it. My poor nails.
  7. Can you send me a link to this write up please? Hmmm maybe il try it doesn't matter how long it takes really. Did you manage to organize picking up the exhaust?
  8. Ok soooooo I have an exhaust leak from either the downpipe or god forbid the manifolds ahhhhhh it gets quieter as the engine heats up due to expansion and physics stuff. I've ordered some smoke pellets, going to smoke the exhaust system and see where it comes out of, although almost impossible to see from under the bonnet anyway. So any decent garages in London who have the ability to remove the engine if need be? Thanks in advance.
  9. Feels the same? What you getting at? Anyway just realised I have a leak from either the exhaust manifolds or the downpipe sooooo looks like it's going in the garage. Need to find someone who's knows their zeds.
  10. I removed my Aircon some years ago, scrapped the lot.
  11. Yeah I've thought of fitting an intake air temp gauge maybe nows a good time. Haven't done an air leak test for a while might do one 2mow. Doesn't feel like an air leak, no hesitation or spluttering runs lovely. I think I just get heat soak during city driving at very low London speeds of 20mph and sitting in traffic or at the lights. Literally after sitting in traffic for a while then giving it some it's like it's dead. Then onto the motorway for a few minutes and it's fine again power is back. Sucks :(
  12. If I've been driving in traffic for a while then give it some beans it's almost like it's lost 3rd of it's power, the difference is night and day. Especially in the hot weather we've had recently. Anyone else's get this? Once I'm on the motorway and the cars had a chance to cool with a bit of air through the front ic's and rAd it's back to feeling reasonably quick again. Is there anyway around this? Water temp is normal, oil temp is fine, boost levels fine, just really slow feeling and very hot in the cabin. Is this heat soak? I've noticed it runs very lean during idle at about 17-18afr and 14-15afr while cruising. Would this cause too much heat? Having the car mapped on a rolling road without proper air cooling makes me think it's going to be difficult to get a good map with good power. Is it better to map during the winter instead?
  13. Very handy thanks. Mine is running a bit high for idle at 48psi. But I remember john Dixon fiddling with the fuel pump ecu and actually disconnecting it. I'm Sure he knows what he was doing.... It idles well and I've never had any hesitation or splutter. Afr shows 17ish at idle which is lean???
  14. Am i correct in thinking idle fuel pressure should be around 41psi? Mine is at 51psi for some reason..... Usually sits at 41psi. Not sure what has changed except the bigger bore exhaust I've fitted.
  15. Great thanks, do it as soon as I get home.
  16. Selling my old 2.5inch japspeed back boxes and centre crossover pipe. Just want £150 originally £300 It's seen better days but will polish up again as it's stainless steel will need some TLC Back Boxes will clean up easily and back to their shine the rest is hidden anyway so can stay dull and dirty up to you. Cannot message yet, I will wait till a member of admin has subscribed me but need interest ASAP as it's coming off today and need it taken away before I throw it away. Thanks you How they looked new:
  17. Can I subscribe please so I can sell my exhaust. Cheers.
  18. I must have thrown mine away, can't find it anywhere. I want to put the steering on a switch to loop from light city/parking steering to heavy track/enthusiastic driving. At the mo it's stuck on heavy which is good for feel but fancy a change.
  19. Last time I had mine sound tested it hit 99db so I'm guessing my 10year old silencers have had it anyway so probAbly loud as hell now anyway as it also drones on the motorway and you can't talk to passengers, but ive gotten used to it. Without the silencers I'm guessing it may sound a little more farty as nick mentioned. But full throttle sounds insane I love it.
  20. Nick, just went through your photobucket and you still have a couple Silencers in the centre section? Or are they cats? So will be noiser without these.
  21. Niiiiice nick. Ideas ideas...... I'd prefer two big oval rear shaped pipes like the z1 pipes. But this is making me think again.
