  1. On SWB the rear bottle and pump for screen washers, the bottle feeds right up to the RH front corner of the car where there is another pump to feed back to the screen washers. On a car I owned years ago the spigot for one of the pipes on this hidden pump broke off and the bottle would empty when the car was pointing slightly downhill. Access is through the RH front wheel arch - remove the liner to access the space ahead...
  2. Will try to be there. 370Z with Stillen supercharger...
  3. If the screen is coming out it is your opportunity to renew the fasteners - IMO recommended as they are likely to be damaged during the cutting of the mastic when the screen comes out.
  4. Prices on the OEM turbo water feed hoses, RH: £11.03 + VAT - available from Euro stock, about one week. £3.71 + VAT - ex-Japan, 3+ weeks.
  5. No immediate stock, but could order for you - Mike at MJP (Eastern Auto).
  6. OEM drop links still run out at more than £50 a side - these are aftermarket versions. Not identical, but do the same job.
  7. Several choices: 1. Just the bushes in OEM rubber - I'll check a price in the morning, but around £2 per bush at a guess 2. Just the bushes in black urethane - general purpose bush at £1.38 + VAT each 3. Aftermarket end link assemblies - pins, washers, bushes - at £17.95 + VAT a pair. Just check length required - I have three different lengths available.
  8. Awesome - looking forward to seeing it in the tin! Thanks for the kind words - pleased to help the process along!
  9. North Weald is most easily accessed off the M11. Leave at the Harlow junction and follow the A414 signposted for Chelmsford (Not the branch down into Harlow). Turn right at the first small roundabout you come to and the entrance to the event is on your right within a couple of hundred yards. There will be signs up at all the major junctions. Arrive early if you want too run - signing on is limited to approx. 200 vehicles and the event is always over-attended. I'll be there from about 8-30am. Tell them on the gate that you are running (even if not). This will get you in the pits and then look for the Z Club flags marking our area. If you want to participate in the Drag Challenge and/or the Eliminator, then get the necessary paperwork from me (Mike Feeney) and I'll talk you through it if you've not participated in this sort of thing before. Morning session will be normal Run What Ya Brung - join the queue and do your thing... In the afternoon we have two dedicated (queue jumping) qualifying sessions for the Eliminator - 2-00pm and 3-00pm. You need to have a timing slip from one of these two sessions to have a chance at the Eliminator. The fastest eight cars will line up in appointed pairs at 4-00pm for Round 1 (if we have big numbers, this might be the fastest 16!). The winners of Round 1 come around again for Round 2 and the winners from that to the Final pair. Normal drag rules apply - first over the line wins, no second chances. First or worst offence disqualifies - e.g. red light, crossing the central line etc. There will be a little trophy (and much glory) for the winner and there will be bonus points awarded in the Z Club Drag Challenge. You need your driving licence and a helmet. Your car will have to pass a simple scrutineering session. Call me if you have questions - 01277 374201.

  13. http://www.mjpauto.com and http://www.mjpshop.co.uk Nissan OEM sensors are V-expensive!
  14. Has anyone seen the white Frank Bruno car recently - reg AHZ 4248. The owner from approx. 3 years ago would love to trace its whereabouts...??
  15. But seriously - we are the S.E. AND Kent Group, so to have someone who knows the Kent area better than me and could arrange a meet would allow us all in Essex to get out more...:D
  16. We do have SEKZ meets in Kent sometimes! If you have a recommended spot closer to you, I'm sure some of our members are prepared to travel! :)
  17. More pics and S.E.K.Z. archive at: http://mjpauto.blogspot.com
  18. Great to see the 300ZX turn-out today - thank you for your support! Not got photos ready yet, but I'm sure there will be some along in a moment... I have a two-seater 200ZR in the workshop at the moment having its RB20DET swapped for the RB25DET from a GTS-T Skyline (with a mod or two). Should be out and about soon and will be along to some SEKZ meets and the Drag Challenge later this year. At least four RB engined 240Zs either out and about or in final preparation at the moment too!
  19. 17042-42P05 is the current number that will suit TT.
  20. I have a few parking passes available to offer - call 01277 374201 to reserve a space. All pre-paid entry tickets now spoken for.
  21. The lower section under the rear bumper attachment is available as a separate panel - £35.18 + VAT per side. The only downer is that they are only stocked in Japan so at least 3 weeks away on order... 78116 / 78117 for RH and LH respectively on attachment:
  22. Both are found on the Japanese version of FAST. Both are supercession numbers. 2371M-41P14 is for auto transmission TT 08/90 - 08/92 2371M-47P00 is for manual transmission NA 08/92 - 09/93

Unfortunately August is pretty fully booked for me already - sorry!
  24. Although I used to see a lot of Frank when he had the cars, it was my policy to treat him like a normal customer and friend, not to do the "starstruck" bit with him - he gets enough of that wherever he goes! So, no posed pictures or anything of the sort I'm afraid.
  25. To set the record straight - I dealt with Frank at the time he had his 300s. A good friend of mine was working for him at the time and persuaded him to buy the first (the red one) at the same time as he was getting a SWB turbo - both from the same dealer. Frank later bought the white one spotted on the A127 from a customer of mine and also a black Z31 turbo "to learn how to drive a manual" was bought from me. The red car was sold to an employee who then sold it back to me after a year. The wheels went on the white car (see below) The red car went off to Ireland and has subsequently been offered via eBay touting the Bruno tag. The second (white) Z32 went to Frank's pool man with a blown engine and numerous other problems (another story...). He spent a fortune on it and added some nice goodies, but he has now left the UK having sold the car. I guess the new owner is trying to cash in on the Bruno tag. Although at £3500 considering the mods (wheels, gauges, manual conversion, new engine, new turbos etc. etc.) it is not badly priced. The third car, the Z31 turbo, never really got driven (except around the Bruno estate) and after Frank's problem period got sold to Ken at ZXS who is currently offering it for sale again (01277 811799 if you like the idea of a Bruno tagged car for little money).
