  1. Cheers for all your replies fellas. I'm going to go round tonight and take it from there. Nothing like a face to face meeting.
  2. Cheers fellas .. I think I will go down the face to face route, no frightening tactics .. just knocking at the door for my money ... I am hoping that this will get him into action .. next, well I'm not sure ... But I am sure I won't go down the real scary tactics route, I would but not with kids around .. just not fair to them ... I could blow up his car though ... dont worry, it's only a range rover ... FFS
  3. Thanks Steve .. much appreciated mate.
  4. LOL ... If he was on the forum .. I would find him anyways .. It's the principle TBH .. I did the work .. he won't pay .. what a complete ****er.
  5. No reason to rip me off .... just being a prick ... Going down the violence route is my last resort ... I dont particularly like frightening people especially those with kids BUT I am considering other ways at the mo ...
  6. I don't really go down the forcefull route mate. He has a family and I dont wan't to scare anyone, however I do wan't my dosh. It was hard earnt but he just doesn't want to pay. Sent a few emails but no JOY. I wish I was still in touch with a few Army buddies .. Bugger .. Just a few good ideas would be good.
  7. OK.. very simple really. I did some private work for a person and they won't pay me for the work. Truth being, not declared. I know bad bad boy but I wan't my dosh anyways, Anyone got any ideas how to get it without resorting to violence. Not that I'm agaist violence but I thought someone out there may have a more subtle way. It isn't a lot of cash, only £800 or so, but I did the work. Ideas welcome .. Cheers Chris P
  8. Thanks for trying it out anyways Dave. Bugger .. ;-)
  9. Welcome to the club. Hope you have as much fun as I have. You will certainly find it interesting. Lots of great people on here.
  10. This may help: http://aus300zx.neuralmotion.com.au/tech/bulbs/bulbs.html
  11. If you want to improve the normal lights then get some better bulbs. I got PIAA bulbs .. not cheap but better than shining a torch out of the window to see where you are going.
  12. As long as the calipers are working correctly, then I don't see why decent disks uprated pads wont be fine. By the way, if you are having a boost controller fitted, you don't need boost jets. I would recommend a boost controller, not boost jets (some will say otherwise) and FFS make sure you get a good boost gauge fitted if you up the boost either way.
  13. Go for it mate. Everything will be cool. As a property owner, It is a great long term investment.
  14. It is good to upgrade the brakes mate. Most people go for the Skylark brake set up. Depends on how much power you are going for. I'm running 1 bar and I can stop OK at the mo. Skyline upgrade can be quite expensive. I am happy with my set up for the moment though. As far as I can remember the skyline calipers fit straight on, but you have to be aware of the clearance for the alloys. They are big buggers, and you will need the disks as well. Sorry I can't be more help .. sure someone who has upgraded will tell you the ins and outs though.
  15. Answering the post now. Zed brakes aren't bad, as long as the calipers are working correctly they are fine. 3G brakes are good. I have some and have been very happy with them. Get some decent pads as well and some good fluid and no worries.
  16. My lady says keep it. She even has let me keep it in the garage over hers when I move up ... Damn right I am going to hang on to her, she is 1 in a million!!
  17. Try taking out the fuel pump fuse like Mark said mate. I have heard of this before and it worked. Also something about the water temp sensor being faulty and causing the ECU to overfuel because it thought the engine was colder than it was.
  18. Hope you get it sorted mate. Keep us posted.
  19. Morning Steve, The only thing I can suggest is to check that you are getting fuel and you are getting spark. If you are, then take it from there mate. Chris
  20. Absolutely ... welcome .... and what a great intro ... Hope you enjoy as much as me. All the best, Chris
  21. Led Zep and Hawkwind ... Colour should have been red though .. not silver .. bloody things
  22. PMSL ... Stairs please!!
  23. Cheers Dave .. I appreciate you going out and about to test it mate. Keep us posted with your findings bud. Thanks, Chris P

A standard TT chip won't handle that amount of boost. Well I wouldn't use a standard chip anyway. Some people say that they can though ...
