  5. Its a bit in between a gosse and an owl it only lasts a few seconds as the engine boosts up then goes away Jim
  6. No mate it sounds like a bit like an alternator sounds like when it slips a bit only deeper and quite loud and it comes from under the car otherwise the car runs perfect Jim

When i'm driving along the road and floor it a bit i get a strange noise from under the front of the car Its sounds like a deep tone rising slightly before it disappears Could it be a boost leak or a slipping autobox.Ive got an fmic,chipped ecu, boost jets it only started making the noise after i fitted all this Oh and the turbo's whistle now anyone got any ideas:confused: Jim

  11. Could you not contact a previous buyer through the sellers feedback as a few people have bought an organic clutch albeit for different models of vehicle but you could get an idea of quality Jim

  13. I'm sure i read somewhere that a lightened crank pulley has a detremental effect on the crank bearings as the original pulleys weight help smooth vibration

Hi guys can anyone tell me what size of oil cooler i will need for my auto trans as ive got myself an hks style fmic,i will get an uprated rad once my old rover bits sell on ebay:D The car has urated ecu,boost jets ,exhaust and induction Also what size of cooler would you recommend for an engine oil cooler just to help overall cooling Cheers jim

  16. As the title says i want to remove my airbag so i can take the steering wheel off and fit my a lace up cover in the house rather than in the cold and dark outside Anyway does anyone know what sort of screws (torx etc) hold the airbag on i cant get me head round to see :D Cheers jim
  17. Its the strip with the brake light i think its standard on 94 spec z's with the platform rear spoiler any way i'll try painting it first as si says ,see how it looks then take it from there Thanks for all the replies guys:D

  19. The previous owner colour coded the plastic strip on the rear tailgate above my lights and i want to return it back to stock Short of replacing it any ideas how to get the paint off cheers Jim

  21. Hi guys does anyone know if the trigger for the central locking is positive or negative i cant tell from the wiring diagram I have a basic alarm so i am fitting a gsm alarm and hope to use a lot of the existing alarm wiring Jim
  22. I fitted a plastic raw plug in the hole then screwed into the pug with a self tapper works perfect
  23. You can buy them with a cone that allows you to fit it over the track rod end means that you dont need to get the tracking done
