Last week when I went down the parking garage I noticed 2 small tiny dents on my Z left drive door. that really frustrated my whole damn evening. Wanting to keep the Z stunning and clean some fu** a*+hole always has to ruin the cake. Anyhow, I asked the body shop abut how much it would cost to get them done and he said about 175 euros---but he also pointed out that if he re paints that door it usually never looks the same tone of colour when you look it closely on a sunny day. He just wanted to warn me about it. He also pointed out to re spray the whole car someday, but...man he charges 1.700 euros for the whole job including having to remove the rear spoiler etc etc... What I wanted to ask you guys, need advice about should I just fix these 2 small dents? or re spray the entire car? I really feel a bit pulled back about spending 1700 euros when I think my Z is not in bad condition for a complete re-spray. What would you guys do? attaching a actual pic of how the car looks. Ahh good one there; about leather mmm well it can´t get hotter than when I used to live in Tampa, FL and most Z came with stock leather (for the pirce you paid I found it only fair). About spoiler, TT and NA in the states came without them.I had a friend in the NAVY he bought one in San Diego green cobalt like my Z 1996 with veige leather but difference was hes Z had no spoiler.

Ok I am really confused about 2 things here; why is it so complicated to see a Z in Japan with stock leather? and why many Z´s in Jap have no spoiler being 1997 models?

Ok this thread is one of my all time fav... but I am confused now, isn´t the Velvet pruple on that R8 the same one as the LP2 stock code midnight purple? I have to say that velvet looks stunning on that Audi.

Would everything changed if we talked about an Audi R8 V10? Cuz personally I think yes the R8 is beautiful, but I still think the Z is much more agressive and nice looking.

You do have a point there:) now it would have been different if he was reffering to an Audi R8 V10, but TT? eventhough I think the car itself looks cute for a daily ride to the beach.

Funky, ever thought the fact that many Z owners are not Brit native or from other countries? I mean according to this yes you are right, but why not make a Note banner on the front board before jing stating: NOTE: YOU MUST BE FLUENT PERFECT ENGLISH SPEAK AND WRITE IN ORDER TO JOIN THE BOARD, AND MAKE NO MISTAKE IN A SINGLE WORD, SO THAT PROFESSOR JEFF AND FUNKY WILL NOT JUMP ON YOU. Seriously I have been member here since 2007 and to be honest I feel so dissapointed, not a big drama but I think all the years I have been here I never had a single problem with anyone, been always respectful and nice to everyone and considered this board like a group of friends talking about our passion towards Z cars. Thank you buddy; you know? when I lived in the states for 25 years there has always been something that caught my attention in a bad way about Americans. And that was the ability they always have to make fun out of people who are not native when they mispelled a word. In Spain i work with Red Cross and child support, and on my free time I work with summer camp children who spend their vacation in Spain. Of all the years I have done this beautiful job when children or even adults from UK I suppose your country; and anyone who is not spanish, who said words that are not correct I would never ever cross my mind to correct them.Because I know sometimes anyone can goof up in a word specially not being native. But hey, if you felt happy and fully satisified correcting my WICH and you feel you can sleep nice and happy tonight with that; congratulations my friend!:)):thumbup1:

Was chatting a nice friend this weekend who bought a brand new Audi TT, we were both discussing about wich car has better performance; he was trying to convince me that I should sell my Z and go for a brand new TT but...I was trying to explain to him that my Z 1996 green cobalt and actually 80.000Kms is way much more car than a brand new TT, despite all the new tech that today´s cars brings wich I could care less, cuz when I go into the Z the last thing that pops up my mind is listening or focusing on gps or high performance music.This brings me a good discussion about would it be worth selling a stunning good condition Z for a audi tt? new?

I finally decided to improve my listening quality inside the Z specially on my long weekend drives along the coast. I am not going into deep heavy stuff like subwoffer etc..I would never drill a single hole on my Z. Hey folks! been a long time since I haven´t showed up around here; been so busy with life matters... anyhow glad to be back and I wanted to ask a question to all of those experts on stereo new tech system; as many of you know I actually live and stationed in Spain; my Z radio is very simple barely has no quality at all, actually I think it´s the stock one still. I wanted to get a good stereo system but many people I spoke to always said Z32 and sterey system never got alone..lmao. Thing is I wouldn´t want to drill a single hole on my Z it is very nice and stunning and wish to keep it this way. Probably not even going to put a subwoffer just a good radio with new speakers to get a much better sound. I do focus lots on wanting to listen to US radio stations while driving so just got myself a new Iphone and I wanted to ask, with new app installed in Iphone and bluetooth to listen to my hometown stations, I have been told these 2 Alpine models are really nice and just what I am looking for. Can I get some expert opinion about them please? Models are: Alpine CDE-173BT Alpine CDE-178BT First one focus much on Facebook app, thing is I barely use facebook

I was wondering my Z comes with those grey stickers in the engine it´s all in jap words, anyone knows where to get these? probably they come from stock, but it´s tearing off.

Hey brit buddies:) I´ve just replaced all my spark plugs today switching from bosch to NGK Iridium IX, last ones had like 5 years eventhough I don´t use the Z for a daily ride, perhaps once a month it goes out. I spoke to a friend who works at Nissan dealer in Osaka and he strongly recommended me these NGK. So far today when I started the egine I did noticed inmediately a nice smoother start and my first doubt was when I got the baby riding..well to my surprise and nice I did noticed a different ride much more smoother and fast take off. Before it kind a had this feeling like when a horse wants to stumble and he kept jumping. Would love to hear reviews of ya´ll regarding these NGK if someone has them installed that is. Thanks bros!
