  1. Will do. My ECU is also showing no codes whatsoever.
  2. Yep all hoses are on fine
  3. I'll have a check tomorrow. Forgot to mention its an NA also
  4. My zed has developed an idle problem when stationary. The vehicle always starts but sometimes idles ok and at others the idle dies away but rarely stalls. If the accelerator is depressed/feathered then it appears to bog down and tries to stall unless its then left to idle again. When idle dies it can restart immediately and continue driving. The car drives fine once going (under load). In the last 3mths its had a new knock sensor, new alternator, timing belt, cam belt, power steering belt, air con belt, new plenum gasket, all injector seals replaced, clutch pedal repair & improvement, new spark plugs, Thermostat, new IACV air regulator, heater matrix, replaced fuel pressure regulator, fuel dampener, coils replaced. Am i right in thinking that the most likely causes for this issue are mass air flow or throttle position sensor???? Any other things to look for or check?? Any help greatly appreciated :)
  5. Truro. Never gotto go to a meet in the pearl Zed so be good to rock up in the black one :)

  9. jezzuz thats bad. Mine weren't like that but rear was like a trampoline!
  10. Beat me to it!! Was just gonna ask the same thing. I do like it ideed!!
  11. Yeah they were Fujitsubo ones but the rest of the system on the LWB NA is standard. Definately not aftermarket. I bought a standard set of stainless decats for it and they fitted fine. He's got a NA also and stock system and is saying pipework is 6" too long to join centre pipes.
  12. oops wrong forum. please move ^^
  13. I'm looking for some guidance and help on an issue i'm trying to resolve regarding the fitment of rear back boxes on the LWB Z32 (89-01). Basically, do original or aftermarket back boxes differ in overall length on the LWB models throughout any of the production years? I assumed that any rear boxes designed for the LWB models would fit onto the original system without a problem. I removed a set off my LWB and am going to replace with a new pair soon BUT i've sold the old ones to somebody who also has a LWB and they are saying that the boxes are 6" too long and the end flanges are the wrong size even though they are the normal bore size??? They are adamant they do not have a SWB either. I'm just needing some clarification from those that would be in the know. Any help is greatfully received. :)
  14. Hahaha same here!! BUT your all safe, not gonna bid. Missus would hit the roof if i bought a 7th car!!!!
  15. Yeah, i'm still not sure myself now. Prefer the original i think lol Well, puncture all repaired and back on the road....pity the front calipers on the missus FTO have seized....yet more work to do....ggggrrrr :2guns:
  16. Thanks guys its getting there. Gotta get the 99spec front bumper and spoiler sprayed up new year b4 thoughts turn to changing the engine. Yep, its onlt rested on the car in the pics so i could get an idea of what it'll all look like. Yeh its good, only cost me a case of beer & bottle of wine for the bosses once a year. Got 3 other projects around the back haha! Though the Datsun project purchase is still proving elusive

What winter projects have you all got on the go...other than the Zed :whistling: Got a few Vauxhalls underway as thats where my roots were from. 98 Astra Estate with full South African bodykit, V6 brakes, 5 stud conversion, 40mm drop & running SVO haha 95 Astra Sport undergoing full GSi replication 95 Astra Sport Pineapple with 58k!!! 93 Astra GSi undergoing restoration 95 Mitsubishi FTO (the other halfs Xmas present....ssshhhh!!) Too many cars!!!!! Gotta sell a few to fund the TT conversion methinks :winkiss:
  20. Well, its been ages since i've done anything to the Zed. Just enjoyed lots of trouble free motoring. But...now i have some time off work i've started doing a few things i want to it. First off....fitted the Apexi Induction kit & bumper removal ready for the 99spec front then removed Fujitsubo exhausts & flaky oem spoiler....i wanted the kaminari one but settled for a Monza one with slight modification insteas :( tried it in black after i saw that white and black one on here with blue rear lights.....wasn't keen so went almost body colour...needs respray. trial fit of new exhaust boxes....SWB ones..but got a part welded up to suit. and finally an artistic shot...albeit with mob cam. Next stage a TT conversion has have just talked myself out of a R33 GTR V-Spec....i want the power of a GTR but not the looks...so VG30DETT it is!! The car is too good just to sell and get a TT so gonna go the the whole hog :clap::clap:
  21. Anybody recommend any local paint suppliers in Cornwall?? Used to be one in Pool but that was some years ago and can't remember the name. Done a few searches but just household paint comes up :( Need a bumper and spoiler paint matched. Oh, how many litres would you expect would be needed for the above??
  22. Well fancy that :) Thanks for the link...now know my spoiler is a Monza. Though gonna modify it and remove the centre spat & brake light as looks utter poo imho
  23. Anybody have an idea what the name of this spoiler is?
