it's no problem to subscript, mate I am going to subscipt after I have repaired it, as still dunno how much I expect to pay for repairing, so............. :cry: , anyway, I took my zed back home, as the repairer don't even know what the problem is after a week, it's terrible, isn't it? Therefore i am still looking for somewhere to started it up for me, I am really no idea, any suggestion? I know this quesion has been asked by me for a several time, but it's true that no one can tell me what I gonna do. your suggestion may save my zed, so please drop me a line if you know something about it

yes, I know, I may end up with a huge bill, but there is no one to help me in my local area. That's why I think the Nissan is the only places I can go. Yes I have a video camcorder.

AndyP: Thanks for your replied, do you think it is necessary to contact Nissan in my local area to sort it out? As I have really tried all what you guys mentioned here, and even the mechanic of AA tried to fix it as well, but it seems not very helpful. therefore, I haven't got a clue about it.

also another mate of mine told me that he has a smilar problem on his Integra Type-R, and his problem is the part of distributor where connects spark plugs is broken, that's why he couldn't turn it over - new part sorted it. Any idea? PLEASE HELP :cry:

That's no problem, mate, but do you think is nissan more helpful than a local garage? I have been told that nissan is the only places where I need to get help but I am afraid that it will cost me a lot, as I mentioned, not much money to spend until may

yes, I agree, as he is always ill, and I can't even get hold with him so far, do u have any recommendation garages in Portsmouth area or Hants? Also what kind of garage I need to check it? as I have been many places and I have been told they don't/can't do it or even check it. Please Help me, it seems that no one can help me

I have copy all you mentioned here to print it out, and today I bring it with me to see the repairer in the garage, but he don't think any problem with the battery, alarm, alternator and distributor, it seems everything is working except turnning over, so he told me there is not a lot we can do at this stage, the only thing we do is keep checking, also he asked me to wait until next week, as he is trying to check any wrong with the fuel pump and something similar. have you guys heard anything about it or someone have a similar problem as mine? also I am so worried about it although the repairer don't think there is a big problem with the engine, as I have not much money to spend on repairing Thanks again

To Vijay: my mate told he had the same problem as mine, and he took his prelude to Honda and tried to find out what the problem is, but it has been taken about 8 weeks for nothing, so he took the car to the local electric auto shop, the staff there took the distributor out of the car to get it repaired somewhere else, after that, his prelude is back to normal starting engine. That's why he suggested me to have a look at the distributor; That's all I know about it, sorry To Billynomates: I have got a CAT2 immobiliser, but it is working well, after I unlock it, and trying to turn it over, then there is some clicking sounds from the engine and clicking actually just like normal, but wouldn't start. Please give me some more advise, thanks indeed, mate

I just have been told that there may be some problem with the distributor (I don't even know what it is), and he asked me to get it repaired or replaced as he had the exactly problem as mine on his prelude (everything is fine except turnning over). Does anyone know it makes sense? I really need help, as it seems that nothing I can do with my zed

hi everyone, I did contact AA already, and they came this afternoon, take about 3-4 hours to LOOK AT my zed, but at the end of the story, they just told me they don't know what's wrong with it, then take it to my local garage and that's what they have done today (what I am going to say is I got nothing from AA). Also I am a member of AA already, but because my zed is broken down at home, so they want me to pay another 80 quid to upgrate the service although I paid 150 quid last time, I think it doesn't make any sense. Now the repairer from my local garage need to have a look, the only thing I can do is wait and wait, I have no confident with him to get it done. Any advise? or What I gonna do?

hi everyone, my zed is a automatic, I think I am going to get help from local garage or AA, but I don't know is it a best idea although I am a memeber of AA, anyway thanks for your advise and suggestion, hopefully it can be sorted soon, and I'll let you know what the problem is, which is helpful for someone who have a similar problem in the future. if all of you know something else, please let me know, as it migbt be help.

bad news for me, I tried everything all of you mentioned, but I still can't turn it over, is that mean the only way I do is buying a new battery and replace it? do all you guys think this can be sorted it out? if so, where and which model I need for it? thanks again

thanks for all your replies, whatever I can get it done or not, all of you are very helpful and nice. I am leaving my soarer next to my zed to charge up, and I will leave it like this for 3-5 hours today, hopefully the battery of my zed can start up and run like our old time. If it can't be sorted out, I think the only way I can do is replacing the battery, but dunno where and which one will fit to it, any idea? BigThanks for you guys

no, the immobiliser is working well, nothing problem with it, that's why I don't think anything to do with the immo is helpful to start it up

I did try everything to sort it out, but it seems that the battery dead already, does anyone know where can I buy a new battery for her? and normally how much I expect to pay for it? due to tuition fee (8750 quid, shit), I haven't much money to do any mod and repairing until may, so please advise some econ or cheap one, I have seen the old forum that mentioned there are some batteries which will fit to our zed from halfords, do you guys know anything about it?

but I stranged that I just left it for less than a week (I remember last time I started it, I took it to PASS :) the MOT), and now it can't even start whatever I do? is zed easy to having this problem or only mine one is? because I tried to left my soarer at my garage for about a month, and nothing problem with it.

yes, the light and every electricial like seat and light is fine, the other car is running with no problem as well, and it does make clicking noise when I turn the key, but I didn't rev my soarer (my another car) to 2000 before I start my zed up, did I do anything wrong?

sorry the only problem (I think) is that when I put the key in and turn it, the engine seems dead, it can't be started, so I asked my friend what's up with her (as I have no knowlegment about the car), and he told me energy of the battery might be run out, asked me to connect the battery of my zed to my another car, so I did, but it still the same, that's what the problem is. I am going to get help from AA if it doesn't work next few days. PS. sorry about my english, and that's the only thing I know
