Haha!! Good point. I need to get it off so's I can fit my new pedal covers. I've drilled the holes through the pedal, but can't get the nuts on the back of the screws cos the bar that holds the acc. pedal is in the way.

Hi, Has anyone removed their orignal plastic accelerator pedal? If so how do you get the bloody thing off?? I've been trying with no luck and I can't get my big fooking head in the footwell enough to see what's going on. :mad: Cheers Guy

Hi Scooby, For reference I just bought on Sunday a 1992 UK TT Manual, it's completley stock and has a full service history from new, with every receipt for every service. It's been religiously serviced every 6 months with Mobil 1 from new. It's also still under Nissan warranty fromn new. Bodywork wise it's pretty immaculate apart from a stone chip on the bonnet and a few small cracks on the front bumper. But in my opinion it is a very sound car. I paid £6.5k for it. The chap wanted £7.5k but as parkers values that year at £5.8k for A1 condition he dropped a grand. So all in all, i'd say £8k for a '90 is well ogver the odds unless it's had some serious mods.

Thanks for all the help guys. For reference, Luke no longer does the cubby holes as Nissan racked up the price to £65. Instead I've ordered a similar cubby, but with a hinged door on the front so you can hide your possesion from all the little toerags!;) £22 + VAT from Z centre.
