i think the problem is the dvd is playing 5.1 sound through stereo speakers....i used to have this problem when i was just using tv speakers.....your dvd player setup may have some sound settings,,i know my sony had a setting for nighttime use when all the voices and background sound were set the same.....its awful at night when youve got tv really loud to hear the speech,and then there's a barrage of gunfire!!!!

you'd have to convert the bluray/hd disc to mkv ....its a long process,,,you lose quality as blu ray disc is about 30gigs....most dodgy files are 4-16 gigs....the quality is still stunning though.....you can use the usb memory stick as long as its in the ntsc file format,as fat32 only has a max file size of 4gb...

do you have a surround set up,,or just using tv speakers?

had one fitted today....the one that packed up must have been failing for ages....had been having a lack of power at low revs for ages...had this fitted and it accelerates alot quicker at low revs...and no hoover noise!....
