  1. Only download from AVG's own site or from CNET (AVG use them anyway) http://free.avg.com/us-en/download?prd=afe Personally I've found AVG to be power hungry and sometimes fails to work for no reason, I'm now using Avast ... http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download HTH
  2. Nice one Si  I've just been winding my colleague up with this, as he owns a 59 plate 308, And I had the missfortune of having to suffer one for a couple of weeks at the end of my time with my foot in plaster late last year (but then I had been spoilt by the Volvo V70 I'd been given prior to that :D ) Got to admit that the Pininfarina 306 Cabriolet and 406 coupe are very well styled cars indeed.
  3. Seriousley though, I'd give one of the Zed breakers a shout if you're only looking that low, but then I'm sure you'd sell it through eBay if you put a Buy-It-Now on it! Just be honest in your auction page, and people will see it for what it is.
  4. I give this thread 10 mins at the max!!
  5. Including or excluding Amanda??
  6. I think it could be a scam!
  7. Highly, Highly, Highly, Highly (do you get the point yet? ;) ) recommended!!!!!!
  8. For how long Nick?! :cool3: Seriously though, I'm glad you have a newly found enthusiasm for it all mate :sailor:
  9. Also received this this afternoon via e-mail from them. The only thing is that they stipulate what is the maximum price for P&P, which has been a pain in the arse so far for some of the mobile phones I've been selling, meaning that they only just cover postage but leave nothing to cover packaging! Better, but not yet perfect though.
  10. Registered today.... bcde382
  11. I do beleive that there is a £80 fine if your spotted doing that!
  12. Sorry! Fully agreed! Looked into buying one before Eliza, but could never find any.
  13. I'm glad to hear it Dave, hope to see you again soon. And Eliza should be coming out of retirement soon as well :D Hmmmm a bit beyond my 50 mile limit ;) and my sat-nav don't go that far :clown: but I'm sure I could make an exception in this case
  14. I know the feeling Nick, at least I got myself a 2ltr turbo to keep me going :D
  15. That got you attention! ;) Where's the sleeping smiley?.......... Found it...... Because that's what the Midlands section needs! 22nd November was the last post in here - BLOODY HELL! :cursing: Come-on Midlanders, lets wake this place up a bit!! :tank: :gunsmilie: :w00t: So when's the next meet? Are we all up for one? Suggestions................ Mine.... How about either Lord Ted (Newark) or The Forge Inn, Glenfield, Leicester?
  16. I didn't read the above comments before looking at the eBay ad, but I instantly thought "What a FUGLY looking car!":2guns::death:
  17. Well, as you know Baz, I've got a Rover 820 Vitesse coupe as well as Eliza. And, as if by magic, here they both are ;)
  18. Well, basically bugger-all has been done so far :D I've booked in with my dad to use his workbench for the turbo re-build on Sunday 7th Feb :D (good ol' dad  ) so that'll be part one. Then I'm still putting the money together for the bodywork, but that's only labour as I have the panels etc for that. Then it's over to Nicks place once he's ready for me and then the engine will be lifted and the turbo's (and 'bits') will go on. Then it's MOT time............ So I'm hoping for all that to be done by July, ready for 'Show Season'
  19. Well after having driven it for over a month now, I'll update this ;) I'd agreed to have an MOT put on it by the dealer when I bought it, which was why I had to go back to pick it up. This was done, and the MOT place had found that one of the rear calipers wasn't working properly so they changed it, which saved the the best part of at least £80 so was worth having the MOT done on it (it still had over five months to go) But what they didn't spot was the two front tyres were bald!!! :censored: and neither did I until I'd got her home  So much for the MOT! Anyway I've managed to obtain a set of four alloys the same as the ones on it, complete with four good tyres for only £35! so that's that sorted. Problem 2) When stuck in traffic she would overheat! After lots of :censored: I finally decided to swap the expansion cap for a known good one, and 'Hey Presto!' no more leaks! :cool2: At least it wasn't the head gasket. The cap wasn't sealing so once up to temp and preasure the water simply came out of the tank. Problem 3) She's a little 'Lumpy' in the running department, which is under investigation at the moment. Problem 4) The boot leaks, so I'm still on the case with that one at the moment. Problem 5) Passenger side window doesn't work (but it did when I first went to see the car), that's on the 'To Do' list. Problem 6) Both front speakers 'Rattle', not sure why, could be blown speakers or just loose housings. On the 'To Do' list. Apart from that she's a good old car that I'm really happy with (obviously not as happy as I would be if I was driving Eliza ;) ) Very, very comfy to drive, much better now as I've installed the Harmon/Kardon iPod kit so I no longer have to listen to crap radio! (going to have to buy another one for Eliza now) I personally think that the Rover 800 series is very underrated, it's a very capable, roomy, comfy and powerfull car indeed.
  20. 1) Sell them! 2) Cat overheat sensor wires HTH Dave
  21. F**K ME! That pole was shifting a bit!!!! ;)
  22. Hellraiser, sorry to hear about this bud, and I'm sorry that it's all bad news, but it is bad news I'm affraid because if you do leave it it'll end up looking like this...... And that really doesn't show you how bad it actually is!
  23. And this thread should help you identify components... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=26120 HTH Dave
  24. Yep just checked for the parts washer, it first stated that the nearest store was Sheffield (46 miles) but still claiming free delivery to my local store, once you try to order it it states none available in the UK....... it's maketing bull!!
