Crash investigators go a long way, even to see if the bulbs used are e marked, if rear ended doubt they will need to take apart the lense they would just see in. They even check to see if the bulb was on by looking at glass fibres that have melted to the bulbs element. They go into it in a big way, The mot guy will have no idea what so ever if it is Oem or not so will always get the pass but it dosnt mean it right, I love the idea and I know they are brighter and you can argue as much as you like with the investigator. If it's not as should be then you will be screwed, Just food for thought lol

I would leave the window strips bare. It looks sporty and from a distance I doubt you would see them due to reflections etc. Think it would look odd with a white bar going down the window?
