  1. Cut along the length of the bolt with the nut still on, then the nut can be removed as its in 2 and the stub stays in place?
  2. BMW just make the perfect every day cars with enough pace to make you happy:-) Got 2 of them now, today I filled my 330d up with petrol, managed to get to tesco car park, stripped the car down got all the petrol out cleaned all the pipes, got 3 giffy cans of diesel put it in cranked the car over about 10 times then she started, drove for about 2hrs and all good touch wood. No damage :-) Was the little girls 2nd birthday today and we were meant to go to the zoo, instead she was in a car park, bless her she has been amazing today Oh yeah AA wanted £280 to do the job so I told them to f off lo
  3. Ah simples lol I thought you were cutting through the length lol? So you could do it my way as well if the studs didn't snap :-)
  4. Lol its a cracking car, really nice and smooth to drive and the engine sound amazing. Oh yeah the zed will be soon. All the paint is here now
  5. Right so your cutting the flange as well
  6. But if its snapped up to the flange this cannot be done can it. I cannot get my head around it without having the part in my hand :wack:
  7. I've just bought a BMW 325ti compact and the clutch has gone on that. Cannot wait to get it done s I can go for a proper blast :)
  8. Yeah that's what I was thinking lol. So are those studs threaded into the elbow or pressed in from the other side like the wheel bolts?
  9. Oh I see I think. You cut the line through the nut and bolt. So the bolt stays in place but the rusted nut is removed in 2. Still doesn't help with the snapped nuts lol
  10. So once you cut it do you crimp both sides together then tap it through? What's the pont in using old nuts with new bolts. Just replace with new surly?
  11. I don't understand what cutting the v into it does? Do you the crimp them both together and hammer them through?
  12. Solid all the way. I did mine and I never noticed a difference :)
  13. Boost leak. They can make random noises. Have a look on YouTube to jivee you an idea
  14. My little 2 year old Abby just ran across the room to see the vid and she called yo the stig
  15. I'm only running about 11 psi, injectors don't make any difference its just for reliability really so you don't max them out. Once everything is back together I will get it re mapped by noz and run about 17psi if I can on hi boost in case I come side by side with a skyline etc lol.
  16. Predictive text, but the weight saving of a hotel would be epic lol
  17. Ah that's crap, best crack on then :(
  18. No because the weight saved by the hotels allows form the slam panel to be fitted :)
  19. Well I hope you reach the magic 250 lol Who gives a :xxx: what people think I don't care any more there are to many :xxx: out there, who are wannabes or drive around in half maintained sh1t that think they know what there on about, At least I admit I woundnt have a clue where to start and as long as your happy.
  20. Fook it let it happen. At least I don't have to worry about finishing my zed or selling the pug,
  21. My mate did that, straight through the floor but he used super long bolts and didn't cut them. So eveytme you went over a speed bump or a funny dip in the road the threads would bottom out, make the car jump and you got a took of a bang inyour arse, was a hell of a laugh after you survived lol
  22. No not if you have a slam panel fitted, this forces the air through the rad instead of over it
  23. Don't be so soft what do you think a near stock zed can pull more than 300 or did you mean more like 500 ?
  24. But the one with holes is a super duper light weight version and will increase your 0/60 time
