All going well in the next 2 weeks i will be buy a new car. not net but new to me lol!!! Im selling the Gsi to a mate paying on Friday and possibly the day after im buying a cracking motor of my other mate, no expence spared and a quality little motor. Anyone want to have a guess? in not going to say but i just want to see if anyone can guess it :)

cheers mate, If there is anything wrong with the fibers. you can run a bit of black paint into them then the epoxy on top to hid it a bit :)

Yeah i did mine by jacking up the rear. just used autosol and a good wax on top :)

once its gone its gone in affraid :( The best you can do is flick out the cracked area with say a staly knife, get some super clear poxy resin and fill it back in. wait till dry flat it down and buff up. It will still be there but it will look much neater, If the fibers are broke then there is nothing you can do :(

where the cars ecu is there is another ecu under it for the hicas with a single plug going into it, just pull that out and job done. by doing this you also get to keep your fluid level indicator :wink:
