Tbh I was expecting it to be more than that especially after going to the trouble of ordering a few in too so yeh all in all I was well pleased mate as its something I wanted to re-fit since getting the car.

Got it from a local motor factors who ordered a few sizes in so i could try them for fitment, good price too at £50.

Picked a battery up today that was the best fit I could find inside the jacket sitting flush with the internal plastic fins either side of the jacket,its a 005 and measures 225mm x 170mm x 205mm

I got a 320mm and although its ideal for leg room i cannot see the dials properly.

I feel exactly the same mate,totally lost interest in mine,difference is you wont struggle to sell if you decide to go down that route...lol Im sure you wont be making snap decisions bud and if you do sell someone will get one hell of a stunning car.

I fitted my sensor in the stock pipe,as John has mentioned a tapered thread + sealant does the job,not had any probs with it.

John's correct (as usual..lol) I fitted a 1/8NPT sender in the stock sensor location and it was ok for the first few turns then tightened up, I didnt remove it as I knew the thread would be damaged but luckily it dont leak.

It completely encases the battery with only the top of the battery visable.

No mate was £200 for the plenum and TB then gaskets on top of that too but I also did a few other jobs while it was all off.

Mines non abs so very rare and new is quite expensive for this time of year...lol...if its gotta be new then so be it but just trying to get opinions beforehand as the leak was hardly anything but there. Dont have a picture of it to hand,will take one tommorow.
