Wideboy paint update !
Kit is a copied strosek to the best of my knowledge. As for rear lights (had them sitting around) they will do for now ($$) til i can source out something better that i like. Not a fan of the fiat or 4-6 pot venoms etc.

Hey Smithy, How's it going mate? yeah I did hear something about the air-cup set-up, + yes, also very pricey to i beleive ! lol Do you remember the old citreons with the air-lift set up they had ? mmm ? I cant see me going over 120mph to much over here (haha) (Australia) New Anti-Hoon Legislation nono: as the (filfth) old bill here are impounding cars (for 3 months)+ then CRUSHING them if anyone gets caught a 2nd time round ! for hooning in any way shape or form !!:rant: smoking the tyres etc :x: And just plain old bad luck if the dirty copper doesnt like you i suppose to !!!!:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal Anyway back to topic, your set up is the same as the one pictured ??, Have you any pics of your car/set-up ??:D How often do they lose pressure ? so they are good when you need them to raise front for ferry etc ? and you wouldnt drive around to much with it raised im still very curious about it all though .:D Cheers mate ! Suspension Q:How would the Z handle being fitted with Air-Assisted struts ?
Maybe ! On engine start (car will rise to set height) ? On engine shut down (lower to set height) and have a manual overide set up inside the car ? For Ex: when approaching a shitty driveway or speedhump , you can lift the car at front or rear to gain entry to driveway etc ! I dont mean air bags (for slamming it to ground) more so air-struts ??? I found this set-up supposedly for a Z ! [/img]

when reversing in my auto Z ! it feels like it changes down into a lower gear ????
Its a weird feeling when reversing and its like it changes into a lower range of reverse ?? wtf ?? I havent driven the car at all in the last 4months (due to panelshop) and not a great deal in the last 12months. And the p/shop also pointed it out, i had noticed it before then as well, when i would reverse down my driveway  [/img] Is this a common occurance with the auto Z's ?? :o

Dry fit of some roundies + 60mm spacers on the Old Fat Arse !!
here's a pic from the inside of his car with tub dry-fitted to hatch. [/img] He does a pretty good job with f/glass and reasonably priced to ! and yes those arches are some BIG-F-uckers ! aren't they ? Will have to hunt about for some Big wheels worthy of those arches. lol here's a before pic of the 1st kit (red-gelcoat) off the car. [/img] [/img]

Dry fit of some roundies + 60mm spacers on the Old Fat Arse !!
muck-arsin about with it when fitting arch-panels+ bumper. Old mate that made the 2x w/body kits up for me, made the moulds up from a 2 seater widebody kit to suit the 2+2 . This 1 is from the same mould as mine . [/img] [/img]

Dry fit of some roundies + 60mm spacers on the Old Fat Arse !!
and then i'll try them ! lol Originally wanted to go with some round r33's or similar ! but couldnt get or afford them with all the other costs at the moment. Ran out of time, so had to make a decision ASAP ! So 4x holes drilled and there in . had the lights sitting there and wasnt going through the hassle of buying & fitting standard Z rear lights after fitting one piece panel with no joins etc. Plus i like to be different & i like them for now ! :) and thats all that matters in my little piece of the world. Cheers Al

Dry fit of some roundies + 60mm spacers on the Old Fat Arse !!
Do you know of any1 ever putting air-bag suspension on their Z Doing some dry fitting of some led roundies !! [/img] needs to be dropped a couple of inches now in the arse badly :o:shock::rofl: [/img] Also can anyone tell me ?, when fitting stereo etc into glovebox ! How much of the back plastic (g/box) mould be cut away without affecting the closure of g/box ?? From the opening & it goes into a "V" shape at the bottom. and i would need to go a bit deeper if i fit this unit ! I only have the g/box mould here but not the front skin (off getting covered) or the car at the moment !lol (Still in panel shop still :) ). So i thought i would have a crack at fitting it ! (any tips on the glovebox much appreciated) Cheers Al

A bit of progress with my widebodied Z
Can't answer your questions bud, just wanted to say (again), that is gonna look SUPERB when done Dunno if you've mentioned it or not, but are you gonna add a spoiler? Thanks ! and no not having a spoiler just smooth alround, no joins. __________________ Id say for go the incar adjustables if ya got the money they are well worth it... i have to jack mine up to adjust which is rubbish coz id like to be able to raise it up to get on me drive... maybe in the future when ive saved up more ££££ il be placing an order for the tein edfc's I know what your saying about the driveways etc etc, as thats going to be a big problem for me as well , especially with new 959 replica front bar, sooo much lower to the ground !! Also if im going to get c/overs i suppose i had better save a bit more and get the dearer ones that best suit my needs. Cheers for every1's input ! ALZ300

old hatch went the brazillian + pissed off the wiper motor+ w/arm today ! [/img] Now with the coilovers, I really like the idea of being able to control ride height etc etc from edfc but i also want a nice smooth ride as well. instead of clenching my arse-cheeks 2gether every time i hit a bump in the road ! lol Hard decision ! or soft decision ! hahaha :headvswal ALZ300
