  1. there certainly are dodgy traders who try to pass on dangerious work, ive seen some in person and some are beyond belief and the people need to be put in jail never mind shut down!!!
  2. ive not been out for years, must dust off the boat rod LOL
  3. on a twin system then your talking 1000+bhp type!! on a single system which is what i was going to have made then a 3" will still support 600+ i would have thought so i was going to have a single 4" system made but your talking very very loud
  4. until your running silly power then 3 inch as its been said is more than enough Mike
  5. got mine from setrab, about the best you can get as they put them on rollers, bentleys etc i bought mine direct from them at half the price you will pay for others!! well worth looking into. trust make a very nice kit but its not cheap Mike
  6. a quick update, went to see the specialist today and there sending her for an mri scan on her spine as the vet is 99% sure that although she has bad hips its not causing her the pain and more likely her spine, so the good news is its more than likely treatable my medication while it heals but will know more next week. another £1700 lighter
  7. yes brian, think you met her when you came up to get the fireplace were at a specialist on tuesday so hopefully will know where were going next Mike
  8. all depends on budget my brother in law has just bought a panasonic system and it sounds really good and was only £180 ish obviously its never going to sound as good as a seperates system Mike
  9. you could just go for a compact all in one system and just use it for the surround, you can get a half decent one for £150 now and then get a panasonic 35 bluray player which are about £180 :)
  10. looks ok, i think you would be better getting a 5.1 surround system and a seperate bluray player
  11. Thats what i meant in a round a bout way LOL i have the 50" panasonic and the picture on 1080p is superb
  12. no its 1080i which means it simulates 1080p, still a cracking tv and dont forget most ps3 games are only in 720, sky hd is only 1080i so unless your playing blurays then your getting the best picture possible anyway :)
  13. yes bud, we took 76mm pipework from the turbos to the air filters where the side mounts used to be and we then took 63mm pipework from the hot side of the turbo to the intercooler which was a tad harder to fit in due to the lack of space at the side of the plenum LOL
  14. they were already on the car when i bought it, any sus manifolds are prone to cracking due to the weight of the turbos but i got a friend to go over all the welds to double weld them to make sure they didnt crack. When i went onto the next stage of tune with the 20g turbos i got the pentroof manifolds :)
  15. yeh it is hd ready which is 720, the funny thing is the panasonic hd ready tv's display your running 1080p when you have a correct signal ie ps3 etc but your not as the tv does not support it, my old plasma was the same, think i had the 60 model i have the pz70 now
  16. they are the greddy sus ones bud
  17. what model tv is it?
  18. heres the pics as promised you can see you only have to round it off slightly to make a reducer go onto the front of the turbo, we ran this for a while before we decided as we were going for silly power so we increased the pipework size to 3 inches all the way, again it does fit past the engine mount with no extra grinding but we had to take a 90 degree silicon coupler straight up then another 90 degree coupler to then take the pipework forward, unfortunately we didnt get any pictures of this :( But should give you some ideas Mike
  19. yeh basically 1080p tv's have 1080 lines from top to bottom so when you run a 1080p signal it runs at a 1-1 so its as perfect as your going to get. 1080i tv's have 720 lines but has technology on board to upscale the image to what it thinks a 1080p signal looks like Mike
  20. Dont get me wrong if its in the dogd best interest we will let her go but the vets say theres a good chance that they could do various things like remove her hip completely which will mean she will not be as active but she will be pain free for life, also the hip replacement if it works will mean shes pain free but i know what you mean, do we want to put her through it all? If she had been alot older then i dont think it would be a hard choice but as shes so young????? Its so hard to know what to do, i suppose we will make our minds up after we see the specialist next week I know it sounds really sad but when i think about it i want to cry?? shes like my second child LOL
  21. very common in number 5 or 6 piston on a zed
  22. Well my dog nelly is falling apart the poor thing :( So far in her life shes shattered her jaw so its wired up with plates Swallowed a ball and had to be cut open to get it out Shes having tests with suspected cushions disease and last weekend she screamed with pain on sunday night out of nowhere and then she couldnt get up or anything so we rushed her to the vets who thought it was her hips, anyway after lots of tests and x-rays shes got hip dispasia and really bad arthritis in her hip and spine!! Shes on pain relief but shes only 3 and its only going to get worse with age so we dont know what to do, its cost us £1000 so far this week, shes insured but you still have to pay it upfront!! shes just not the same dog, she went from a fun loving dog who was just stupid to a dog who just wonders around and sleeps :( Were seeing a specialist next week about possibly having a hip replacement done but its a 50/50 op and she could end up losing her leg if it doesnt work. We have also talked about having her put down as shes in alot of pain but shes part of the family so shouldnt we do everything we can to try to make life better for her?? Mike
  23. you dont have to take much from it, just enough to get the intake pipe past, we put a 90 degree silicon coupler on mine Mike
  24. Phil at cs woods always gets good reports, he may have gone it alone now? but he is in manchester Mike
  25. Will dig it out tomorrow bud, basically you just have to round the flashing off to allow the intake pipework to pass, i have a picture on a disc somewhere so will post it up tomorrow Mike
