Sorry to dissapoint you macca lad but the gt28rs turbos will flow more air than the 18g's and they spool up quicker!! so if russ has more air going in and decent manifolds then i expect it to make at least as much power as yours as long as the fueling etc is right :p Like ive said before this year is going to be a good/interesting year for zeds Mike

Yeh dont bother!! with all the hastle to make them fit and the fact that they have ceramic blades and cannot go over 1 bar of boost!!! its not worth it for very little if any power gain Kirbz

Well the F50 kit second hand on the GTR board was sold for about £1100 and can be bought new for about £1800 but thats cheap i thing it retails at £2500 but the F50 kit is about the same as yours but is 6 pot. The next kit up is the enzo kit which is 385mm, 8 pot and its just scrummy, if you search i posted a pic of a skyline with the ifrst set in the world on. Not sure about the alloys buddy But depending on what happens in the next few weeks i could be interested in the brakes ;) Kirbz

Fitting any turbo to the zed is a PITA bud so i wouldnt worry there!! i ordered the GT-RS turbos which are similar to the GT675RS and to cut a long story short they never arrived, but i'm glad they didnt as if you look elsewhere the write ups are not great! So if your going to spend your hard earnt money then stick to PROVEN turbos, and the 2 i have said are proven. The greddy kit is very good value as they come with the manifolds and you can get 600 bhp from then with supporting mods. IMO i would next go for the HKS 2530's as they are a newer turbo than the greddy and can support upto 550-600 bhp as well but again if you search the likes of the skyline boards these turbos work very very well indeed and again are proven. Take my advice and dont cut corners but getting a cheaper turbo, they might look inviting but just ask herman about his! :( Kirbz

Stick with tried and tested turbos Greddy 16 or 18g HKS 2530 These would be the only turbos i would go for again Kirbz

i know a guy from the supra forum when the other day to look at a twin turbo supra and when he looked at it he just walked away!! the bumpers were hanging off, it had had a frontal at some point at both airbags had gone off and stuffed back in the wheel and passenger bit and it had some wire holding it all together!! so would you trust people like that??!!

do a search on most of the forums for the garage and i dont think you would buy it!!!

Hi SWBTT I nearly bought that car but just couldnt get up there to get it but its a nice car and the last owner really looked after it so got yourself a good one there One thing though its got a wingswest kit on not greddy but thats not a bad thing as the wingswest is about the best kit for the zed ;) Nice car though and it looks like back to the drawing board for me :) Kirbz ps i have some nice pics of the car if you want me to post them up for you :cool:
