  1. ztech are fully operational but moving premises this month. The transition will be pretty smooth I would have though not to upset the business. I have full confidence in them as they are rebuilding my engine and turbo's as we speak. I took it there to be compression tested but had a full faith in chris as he must have had 10 zeds there all of which were no cheapies and had a load of cash invested in them so spoke for itself really.
  2. Congrats..... bigger , smaller better location? thats 3 Z garages are moving as we speak. ........spookey
  3. Doh I was always shite at crosswords  :D

  6. I have like a lever switch I was going to wire the armoured to then out with normal cable. your option does sound good though cos the lighting would be on a seperate circuit. Could that still all be done on a radial circuit or would it have to be a ring circuit ?
  7. after 7 months of feckin solicitors and twatty builders quotes work on my zed's new home is to start on monday........... about freekin time. Talked to a spark in work about wiring and was told is ok to run 6mm armored cable on a 32 amp radial circuit to supply it. Garage is approx 40m from my consumer unit. For a few light machines and 1kw of tube lighting does this sound ok?
  8. I think you and simo should spank eachother wearing glasses
  9. I just got rid of my lpg escort last week. Was petrol/lpg switchable. Biggest pain in the arse is finding gas stations. second pain in the arse is the tank doesn't go as far as the diesel escort I have now 80L tank about 300 miles used to do 400 when I got 30k miles ago and was getting through a bit of oiul also. Has now gone to the great lpg graveyard in the sky. bought for just over £200 with tank fitted etc has lasted me nearly 3 years spent about £500 on parts in that time fuel cost at best were about 8p as I remember a mile so did pretty well I figure was also not as powerful up hill on gas as petrol was
  10. Is that fibrol stuff a trade names stell's ? Where I get that stuf from that sounds good
  11. was just asking as I don't have a welder so it's gonna be a shop job then. Don't want to spend a lot on the car as it's just a workhorse and mechanically sound
  12. found a replacement arch for my daily drive mk5 escort. It has a rusty rear arch and was thinking of cutting away the worst of it and using car body filler to bond the new one on and blend it in. I have access to a gallon tin of easy sand car filler so that would be easy for me to do. Is this gonna work or do they have to be welded on? thanks in advance

  22. ooh ta my fingers is crossed had phone call today to tell me it will be done on monday as friday was a bit hectic. Nice to be kept in touch though rather than being left in the dark twiddling my thumbs. What should the oil pressure of a zed normally be anyone any idea? Mine sits about at halfway at 3000rpm 4...psi on the stock jap gauge
